We were there for a family/friends wedding and it was beautifully done. It was outside and set up nice and the reception hall was done well and the staff were very attentive and helped with whatever you needed. The room was big and kept private away from all the golf members so you didn't feel like you were at a golf course. The food was delicious, I had the beef and it was so tender, the cheesecake with berry compote was soft and the right amount of sweet to end the dinner. They made this wedding a beautiful experience that won't be forgotten.

We recently were married here and had an amazing day! The staff are lovely, the venue is gorgeous and Suzanne is a total rock star. My fiance was able to play the course and had great things to say about it as well.

Best golf course in Waterloo region! If your looking for a private course to join....you can't go wrong with Galt. The holes on the grand river are absolutely spectacular. The greens crew do an amazing job keeping the course in excellent condition throughout the year. Everyone at the club is really friendly too

Nice place! I was only here to attend a Celebration of Life event. The upstairs event room was a good size with views of the beautiful golf course out the windows, and seating outside on the balcony to watch golf. The bathroom was clean and the staff was friendly. There is a large parking lot but seems to fill up quickly on days where the weather is perfect for golf, leaving less space for event goers.

Gorgeous course. First hole is challenging as there is a creek in front of an elevated green. Holes 13 to 16 along the grand river were breath taking. The course was impeccably groomed. Beautiful bunkering as you'll see in some of my pictures below. Very nice clubhouse too.

My son attended their golf camp for a week in the summer. Gary the instructor was very professional and friendly. He assisted my son improve his golf swing and shared other tips and techniques. They provided lunch for the kids and made sure that they were well engaged during the day and not bored. The staff in the pro shop were also very professional and friendly. Rachel was wonderful too at the pro shop. My son had a great week!

Great golf course, lots of character and some very senic holes on the back nine down by the Grand River. The course is relatively short and fairly easy to walk. No driving range and a practice area you have to bring your own balls.Update: As of June 2018, they have built a brand new practice facility with 40 yard long hitting net and a large putting/chipping green is on the way. The facility also offers club fitting services and great coaching staff, using the latest launch monitor technology. I highly recommend contacting Vic Ciesielski if you're looking for lessons.

Amazing weather in May made the course play like summer golf. Had a rough start with drive lost in creek. But recovered on the back with only one penalty, shot 84. The course was in amazing shape and I will play again in June.

If they had more than 5 stars, I'd tap it. My wife and I had our wedding here let me tell you. You will not regret it. Preet was amazing from start to finish.She helped us customize our food, worked with our cake person, decor, planners, photos.....she took care of everything.... she went over and beyond!The venue is nice, green, clean and very intimate. If you choose this spot, and have an awesome decorator, and wedding planning. Your guests will be blown away.Our guest gave us a 10/10 for our wedding we had at the galt.And the after party, for what I can remember... lol.. was hit!!#bettertogether#Ellises

Great mature course designed by Stanley Thompson and built in 1906. The back nine is very scenic with holes along the Grand River.
