Full tenant improvement of our production facility is going great. Roka team and shortlisted trades are very reliable, agile with our evolving needs, and efficient with time. Good pricing in a competitive market. They built our washroom in 2 weeks, coring to turning on taps! I trust the work and the team and am glad to be in business with them.

We have now hired Tyler and the crew at Roka Projects three separate times to help us with projects in our townhome. Very happy with their work each time - and I'll say I am a picky person!Project #1:They corrected and repaired deficiencies and errors from our original contractor who fell short of our expectations.Project #2:Then Roka replaced the ventless washer and dryer system that was incorrectly ordered by our other contractor (we have a vent!) and instead of recommending small condo size like the old contractor, Roka put in the work to find us full size models that fit into the laundry closet - that was a big bonus! We love the new machines and wished we had Roka from the start!Project #3:Most recently we hired Roka to do a bunch of drywall repairs (dings and dents that occured over time), repaint our railing (a DIY project we had put off for 2 years), and a bunch of other odds and ends to prep our home for sale. Again we are very happy with their work! Great communication, respectful, checked in when needed, and wearing masks always.Future Project:We feel confident as we search for a new home knowing that we have Tyler and the Roka crew we can count on if we get a home that needs some repairs. After working with four other contractors in the past and being whole heartedly disappointed in the experience and result for all four - we are so grateful to have come across Roka! They are a contractor we can trust, who will show up, be professional, and do great work!Added note: We referred Roka to a friend for a full basement renovation and got rave reviews back!

We were referred to Roka Projects when they did a complete kitchen renovation for our son. We had a small but fussy project we needed done, which required Roka to liaise with another contractor's work; and were so pleased when Tyler & his team, Andre & Dan, went above & beyond in all areas: communication, diligence, responsiveness, timeliness, excellent workmanship & keeping the work area clean. My experience on my 3-bathroom renovation project with Tyler Thorne and Roka Projects was excellent!Communication throughout the project was frequent, clear, and prompt. All questions were answered, and any issue was addressed directly. Despite supply chain issues causing some scheduling challenges, Tyler adapted seamlessly to permit work to continue in the most efficient and cost-effective way.Andre was in my house almost every day of the 10-week-long project, and like Tyler, he was easy to work with. Every effort was made to minimize the impacts of the renovation on other areas of the house – very much appreciated. Workmanship is of high-quality, with no detail too small.All the sub-trades (plumbing, electrical, flooring, tiling) selected by Tyler also delivered high-quality work. They were professionally courteous and shared their expertise and experience.Among the most important considerations: Tyler’s initial take-off and estimation (for budgeting) was accurate. My project finished within 2% of budget, with everything that was originally in-scope completed.I’ve referred Tyler to friends for their projects – and I intend on working with Tyler and Roka again. Working with Tyler and the Roka team was a great experience. Covid caused delays in products we wanted but Tyler always gave us other options. Their attention to detail was impeccable and we were always kept informed on what was going on. We absolutely love our new bathroom. When it is time to do our kitchen we will absolutely use Roka again.

We had a great experience with Roka Projects! Tyler was able to help us quickly identify and fix a leak that was coming from our second floor bathtub. From the plumbing, to the drywall, to the paint, it was a smooth process. The team at Roka Projects was very professional and they took great care of our surrounding floors, walls, and furnishings during the repair. Tyler was very meticulous during the overseeing of the project and made sure that everything was done right. He helped ease our anxieties during the process and we are very happy with the results. We just completed our entire main floor renovation with Roka Projects. Our project included a new custom kitchen, new floors throughout, an entire powder room update, replacing exterior doors, a gas fireplace install to replace a wood burning one, detailed finishing carpentry throughout and a feature wall in our living room.Tyler and his entire team were fantastic to work with. The attention to detail from planning to execution is commendable. Tyler took great care in planning out the details with us and offered his expertise along the way. He communicated regularly and consistently as well as visiting the site on a regular basis.When the team discovered a few unexpected surprises Tyler communicated these immediately and helped us with thinking through the most practical solutions.All the trades that Tyler brought in were excellent. They were very professional and took care to keep the site safe and clean as our family was living in our home throughout the renovation.We feel very good about the work that has been completed here and have peace of mind in the high level of quality. The attention to detail is exceptional and the final outcome is absolutely stunning. It's even better than what we had imagined. We love it very much and are enjoying our new space. Worked with Tyler and the Roka team on a renovation of the upstairs of our house including flooring, doors, bathroom, etc. He and his entire team were fantastic to work with. Our house was kept clean throughout, communication was clear and easy, and the final results look great. Couldn’t be happier and will definitely be working with Roka again on future projects.

If I could give 6 stars I would.Tyler and his team at Roka took on my kitchen reno and were flexible in allowing me to take on as much (or as little) as I wanted like sourcing materials, cabinets, countertop, an engineer, and doing the painting myself.They helped source permits and manage demolition, drywall, electrical, plumbing, and tiling. The work was completed to the highest quality possible and was sure to give care to preserving the common areas in my building and keeping the construction contained to the one area without damage to my home.They were very communicative, responsible, and had a keen attention to detail allowing me to have complete trust that my reno is in very capable hands. If anything went wrong, they fixed it. If decisions needed to be made, they presented an unbiased perspective that supported what I wanted and did not force me into any decisions.I will continue to call and refer Tyler and his team as trusted professionals ready to take on any project.
