They were hired by our property management company, so no choice of ours.It takes them months to do any work. They expected us to keep our kitchen completely empty of all furniture for MONTHS to do a week long job because they will show up maybe one day a week (if youre lucky) and theyll send a different crew every time so nobody knows what's going on and nobody wants to take responsibility for any of the mistakes (of which there are MANY).Some of them refused to wear masks in our home during a pandemic.The list of screw ups includes not installing the oven fan correctly causing cold air to pour into our house in the winter.They got drywall mud on everything and never once cleaned up after themselves.It took a month to put six pieces of drywall on the ceiling and they didn't even tear the old ceiling out, which needed to be replaced, they just put drywall over top.They left our light fixture dangling until we moved out.The guys they send never have any idea what they're doing, like we ask what they're here to do and they say I'm not sure"The most unbelievably unprofessional company we have ever dealt with."

We had our kitchen redone by Appelle Fred, as well as flooring throughout our main floor, including powder room. We worked with Fred from the beginning to finalize plans for the kitchen and made a few adjustments as the work progressed. Fred was always accommodating and willing to make our ideas a reality.We had a wall taken down and the kitchen re-arranged to a different layout. He put us in contact with the designer as well as the kitchen cabinet company. No need to be dealing with all the logistics, he takes care of it all.Patrick (his foreman) was at our place and his attention to detail was amazing. Any work he did not do himself, he held to his high standard and had the guys do touch ups if needed. No rushing the job at the expense of quality.We love our new kitchen! The main floor of our house looks like a brand new home and we are excited for showing it off during the holidays.

Appelle Fred Makes it Happen!We finally decided to get our kitchen redone during the fall of 2020 and after getting three quotes, we selected Appelle Fred.From the beginning it was obvious that his attention to detail was outstanding.We worked with him to finalize plans and made a few adjustments after that. Every time we came up with an idea, the answer was “sure, we can do that.”The big changes we wanted to make was to add a small toilet in the space we had, and add a little cloak space by the front door. Fred worked out the plans for those two things quickly.We chose Ikea cabinets and drawers for the kitchen. We did our own research at Ikea for the bathroom fixtures and Fred made the order.Appelle Fred works with plumbing and electrical sub-contractors and both feature experienced, efficient and friendly people. There were never any problems – only solutions to challenges and arranging the pipes for the little bathroom was a fairly serious challenge.Due to covid, there were the expected issues with personnel to assemble the cabinets and do the carpentry but we knew that this would be the case and Fred did everything he could to keep the project going as best he could with the resources he had available. Carpentry, plaster work and painting were really well done.The bottom line was that the project came in within our budget and the results were exactly what we wanted – and more.We love our new kitchen, the little bathroom and the cloak space by the front door.Appelle Fred made it happen!
