Luminar Electrical and General Contractors

This is the WORST service I ever had. I hired them for repair in my house. They did very bad electrical and renovation work of my house. They give you very low estimate but keep on increasing cost once they are in the middle of work. Quality of work is also very bad. I would never recommend to hire them at all.

Pricing was upfront, with a full invoice handed to us before any construction took place. Additionally, Azim and his team were gladly willing to assist us in obtaining city building permits, which can be a hassle. In our case, Azim and his team worked tirelessly to ensure we would be able construct our walkout basement, including excavating and pouring concrete for our new basement door.Azim and his team treated us like family during try construction process, and we always felt comfortable while him and his team were working, even if no one was home. Everyone we worked with throughout this entire project was very friendly and always willing to go above and beyond to ensure we were happy!We recommend Luminar Electric to anyone who is looking for a professional job done for any home projects, whether construction, electrical, or general contracting! Mr Azam is a one of best contractor in the GTA. We had him do our basement, pot lights and other installations. His work was top notch, and I would recommend him wholeheartedly to anyone. If you need a certified contractor and you do not want to compromise on quality, then he is the man for the job.

Knowing all the horror stories out there about bad jobs and scams in construction and having had a bad experience, we were very selective in picking the right contractor to complete our legal basement apartment. We had the usual unrealistic low quotes and also really high quotes. After an extensive evaluation, we selected Luminar Electrical and General Contractors due to their references, viewing their past work and price quoted--and it turned out to be the BEST DECISION we ever made. All of the workers that showed up were punctual, worked tirelessly in every facet of the build and in the end provided a wonderful end result in merely 8 weeks. City inspectors had minimal issues and quickly inspected and passed each phase. We knew who was showing up to do what and for how long. We were a part of the journey from day 1 to the last final inspection. Luminar was able to do my basemenet from start to completion. They go beyond just electrical. They can architect and design your space the way YOU want it,. They can obtain the city permit to build it and then work with the city till its completed to your satisfaction. No headaches or hassles from client. Just the way we wanted it. It is a such a delightful experience to simply watch your basement being constructed from empty space to a wonderful, spacious 2 bedroom legal apartment, with kitchen and bathroom. I would highly recommend Azim from Luminar as someone that you can trust. He is honest, candid and most importantly met our timelines and budget..

Azam and team installed potlights, chandeliers, kitchen lights and fixed various switches in our house. They are efficient and organized. They also did the electrical of our basement years ago. I would recommend!
