I went in to get my prom dress with my mom and i had an amazing experience. The lady came to me as soon as i walked in asked me what i wanted and had fun with me picking between 2 dresses whilst also helping another girl for me it felt like a group experience and it was amazing and i found the perfect dress. Few months later i went to get my boyfriends matching suit ordered and the same lady came right up to us and got his suit picked and measurements super fast. He enjoyed the experience as a non shopper which made me happy. The staff is a 10/10 for me

I couldn't have been more happy with my experience here! I came in to Needleman's in Newport yesterday to try on wedding dresses. It was my first time shopping and the women in the store were so patient and kind. They quickly found out what I liked and picked out dresses accordingly. Towards the end of my visit they weren't pushy at all. They had an excellent selection of dresses at awesome prices. I would go back to Needleman's in a heartbeat.

I needed a dress on very short notice for a wedding anniversary photo shoot, the woman working when I stopped in was wonderfully helpful and was able to find me the perfect dress to buy off the rack in less than 30 minutes (including try on time) without feeling rushed at all! Very impressed with their selection and customer service. Thank you Needlemans!

I wanted to buy a suit and instead they rented it to me without telling me that it was a rental. Never even mentioned that it was a rental. When I went in to return the suit I had thought I bought up until I received a phone call to bring it back, I confronted them and neither would look me in the eyes or even address me directly. They are screwing highschoolers over. Also, they tried walking all over me when I went in to test fit the suit and they were completely dismissing any problems I had with the shirt. I do not recommend going there for anything

I called Needleman's in Newport, VT to inquire about getting my measurements done for a custom wedding dress I'm ordering. I anticipating they'd offer this service at a fee, as most places do. The lady on the phone was very rude and said We don't offer this to women who don't buy their dress here!" I found this very unprofessional. The next place I called was happy to help (even though I wasn't purchasing my wedding gown through them). This was a very poor experience and I'll never consider going here in the future."

We rented our tuxedos for the wedding through Needlemans. The tux's only came in on Wednesday the wedding was Saturday. They gave everyone who rented a tux 1 day to come in and try it on for any necessary changes. Most of our groomsmen work out of town all week and only returned on Friday, they were unable to try on their tuxes until that time and had some fit issues. We were under the impression our tuxes would be in a week prior to the wedding give the groomsmen the opportunity to come in the weekend prior.

We recently went here looking for bridal dresses. We didn't end up finding one with the right color but the staff was so helpful and pointed us in the right direction. This store has been a staple in our area for years. I've gone in many time weddings and proms, they always have a great variety and decent prices.
