Overton Contracting

Extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and customer service shown by this company. Long story short, they came promptly for a quote, I accepted the quote and paid my deposit quickly and they never came back to do the work on the scheduled day. They didn't even bother to call me, I had to follow up with daily emails, calls and texts to get any information and was always promised that the work would be done the next day, but no one ever showed up at all. After waiting 7 days past the scheduled start day, I gave up on having the work done. I then had to wait several days and was asked to send a reminder text to get my deposit back.

DO NOT HIRE!!! Contacted Overton Contracting back in August to build a fence they came promptly to give me a quote and I put down a $3000 deposit for materials. They then told me that there was a lumber shortage and I would have to wait a week for the lumber to come in. Ok. Then they went to the wrong store to pick up the lumber. Ok. Then their bank shut them out of their account. Ok. Then they had another job to finish. Ok. Then they had YET ANOTHER job to finish and that's when I had enough and told them I wanted my money back. They told me it would be 30 days on October 8th. It has now been almost 6 months of pestering them to get my money back and it has not happened yet they just keep giving me excuse after excuse. The most unprofessional people out there. NEVER HIRE THEM!!!!!
