Tantalus Resort Lodge
Brilliantly located resort, not far from the main town and we were able to get a free shuttle into town if we asked. Staff are friendly, rooms are a little old fashioned but great size and everything you could need for a few nights stay. Whistler is a wonderful place to visit. Even if you do not ski. Highly recommended.

Not a fancy hotel with breakfasts or anything. But perfect for a cozy stay. The rooms are more like apartments. They have a nice kitchen, living room with pull out bed in the couch. I saw rooms with up to 4 single beds and queen in 3 seperate spaces plus the pull out. The ones I saw had two bathrooms.Great place if you plan on staying for a bit and settling in.Quick walk to everything as well.

Bad management, and very dirty place.The front desk team are amazing, and they try to do their best, but the dust was everywhere, with a very lazy and unprofessional housekeeping manager, who deserves to be replaced.When we ask the rooms to be cleaned, they said that they provide cleaning and vacum service every 3 days, and that for a very hight rental price.The management is always absent, and there is no general manager to look after the hotel, it seems like an abandoned hotel !

Nice, decent space. Easy to hang out in the living room /dining area with a big enough table for 5 adults and two sofas. The shuttle service is nice to save a few minutes of difficult walking up the hill to the village in ski boots. Dog friendly is great, and hot tub /pool is available until 930pm. There's only one small elevator in the whole building, but using the stairs was easy staying on the 3rd floor.

We love this place! We have stayed here for several ski trips and always appreciate being able to bring our dog with us. The building is just a bit far for a walk with skis to the gondolas, but they have a very convenient shuttle and ski storage that make up for this. This is like a second home to us and we feel very comfortable and welcomed here.

Didn't love this place. It was run down. The elevator was super slow, and they needed more than one. Customer service wasn't good. Definitely need some training there. Overpriced for what it was, too. Although everything in Whistler is.The location was the best thing about it. It was walking distance to the village which was nice.

The room was very clean & it was located close to the village. The furniture in our room was just a little hard. The couch & beds were very hard, but all in all, we enjoyed our stay.

What a beautiful Hotel! Everything is brand new , clean and comfortable! There are Pool, Gym, and Shop… all the things you need! The buffet breakfast is included and was great and freshly made and prepared! The most amazing part of this hotel is there is a surprisingly spacious and fancy restaurant inside the hotel

Although the person at te counter was very friendly and polite he ensured us that we had gotten a pet-free room. (Unfortunately I am very allergic.) However during the night I got severe allergies meaning either a pet stayed in the room or dust mites.When checking out I could barely breathe. The girl at the counter told me she would confront housekeeping. But isn't that something that has to be done before the guests arrive? After that I sent a complaint but no reaction. I think Tantalus doesn't take guests with allergies serious. It is not to be recommended to stay in this hotel when suffering with allergies.For me it takes at least a week to get at a better condition after this horrible stay.
