Top Hat Cleaners

Been coming here for 8 years with my shirts. Never a single issue.Simple, charming service.

Sent custom made drapes to be dry cleaned. They shrunk 7 inches. After going back and forth over 5 times the drapes are still short with a stain that was not their previously. Top Hat cleaners told me they wil no longer do anything for me. My very expensive drapes were ruined by Top Hat Cleaners and they will not take any responsibility. Terrible.

DO NOT BRING YOUR CLOTHES HERE!!!!!I brought over $100 dollars worth of clothing items to get cleaned including my husband's wedding attire and 3 different items came back with orange/brown stains (e.g. wedding attire). After the clothing items were sent back 2 separate times for cleaning after my 5th visit to the cleaners the items were STILL stained. These items were stained at the facility that does the cleaning and after 2 attempts to clean the items, they still remained stained. Stains that were NOT on these clothing items when I brought them in. Upon explaining that the items were STILL stained the employee proceeded to tell me there was a note on file indicating Do not send items out for a 3rd time". I was not even offered a refund on these items. I asked to speak to someone else and the employee indicated that she was the only one working and that the manager is only on the premises on Wednesdays. I will be calling Top Hat Cleaners Head office.Please don't bring your clothing items to PAY TO HAVE THEM STAINED BY YOUR TOP HAT CLEANERS."

I will never use this cleaner again!!!I brought some things in to be cleaned before Christmas, they told they would be ready before holidays...a mix of my wife's dresses and my suits and shirts. The only thing I really needed was my shirts and when I went to pick up, everything was there except the shirts. They sent them to another location. So I presented the stub with the price right on it...I brought almost exact amount of cash and paid in full ! So when my wife stopped to pick up the shirts after holidays they charged her an extra $6.00 for the shirts. That's good business!!!!

My son brought a Canada Goose Jacket in to be cleaned in the Georgetown location. When he picked it up the Coyote Fur around the hood had been burnt during the cleaning. When we complained they sent the jacket back to head office and they replaced the Coyote fur with fake teddy bear fur and was very poorly done at best. We did not accept that and were willing to work with Top Hat to come to a resolution. We were directed to the General Manager Wayne Connor upon my wife having a conversation with him, he was very dismissive and short! He told us at first they had done nothing wrong, which was not true as they did make an attempt to repair. Wayne Connor absolutely made no attempt at resolving the situation and then hung up on my wife as he said i am done with this conversation and hung up. one thing he did say is there is always a risk in taking something to their cleaners. Maybe that should be their slogan,Please do not use this cleaners or accept the riskGood Lucki would give the cleaners a one star and Wayne 0 stars and recommend Wayne take some Customer Service course!

I wish I read these reviews before choosing this establishment. They totally ruined my sons baptism outfit. Out of all the places to place a pin they chose the MIDDLE of the hat and right on the front of the pants. Why not use thinner pins or PIN the tag on a seam or somewhere less obvious? Now the hat is totally useless because it has huge holes on the top. Please do not trust this place with anything sentimental!
