Alicia first did photos for us in 2018 when we flew from Toronto to Banff for a weekend away. She was early in her photography journey, and we had no idea what to expect- but were blown away by not just the finished product but also the experience. Three years later when we were trying to reschedule our wedding yet again, we kept going back to these photos and dreaming about how magical it would be to ditch the traditional wedding vibe and elope with a day that better reflected our love as a couple. Alicia was our first call.We had no plan- just a concept; and she ran with it. Alicia was not just a photographer- she was a location scouter, wedding coordinator, driver, and our biggest cheerleader from the start of this journey. She single-handedly pulled together all details about the locations and timing of our day- and was down for absolutely anything as long as we got the day that we dreamed of. As someone who is not comfortable in front of a camera (in fact I’m downright awkward) and with a husband who despises photos- I am in awe of what she was able to capture. She made us feel so comfortable- it was honestly like spending the day with a good friend. We laughed, we hiked, we drank, and we had the BEST time. And now we have the perfect pictures to remember every moment.She was as invested in this day as we were- and what more could you ask for. We can’t wait to travel west again and will definitely book another adventure filled session with her as soon as we can. 5.0 stars just doesn't feel like enough- she made the day pure magic

We used Alicia (Sun Peak Photos) as a photographer for our smallish wedding in Canmore in April. The photos turned out amazing and were exactly what we wanted in terms of style! It was also probably challenging as our space wasn’t very big but she made it all work! Alicia was so kind and easy going and may the day go very smoothly. She is also very good in terms of keeping you relaxed and responded to our emails/texts super quick! Highly recommended!!

Alicia is amazing! This was our first time getting professional pictures taken and she exceeded expectations. We were both nervous, but she was so nice, friendly and easy going that we quickly felt at ease and had a super fun time during the session. The whole experience was great. She made us feel like ourselves and captures us naturally and beautifully. She also was amazing with our dog and got the best pictures of her. Our gallery was ready so quickly and we absolutely LOVE all the pictures she sent us. I am so happy we decided to book her! She is so talented and we highly recommend her!

We had such an amazing time with Alicia for our shoot! It was our first time getting family photos taken and we are so glad we chose her. Alicia is so knowledgeable about awesome mountain locations and how to get us to pose in front of the camera. The pictures turned out even better than I could have imagined and we will cherish them forever. Definitely can’t wait to do another photo session with her in the future!

Alicia is invested in your day and overall experience. Not only will the photos be stunning, but the process of getting there will be part of the adventure. After my second shooter cancelled 2 WEEKS prior to my wedding date, Alicia found a wonderful replacement that was better then the original booking. Truly, if you want someone who cares about you, and your day, book her. She is professional, quick to respond, and makes you feel like your day is just as important to her, as it is to you.
