I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Negar Sohbati, who definitely left a lasting impression on me with her professionalism, expertise, and genuine care for her patients.Negar's warm and friendly demeanor immediately put me at ease and made the entire experience comfortable and enjoyable. She took the time to listen attentively to my concerns and answered all of my questions with patience and clarity. It was evident that she genuinely cared about my eye health and wanted to ensure that I had the best possible vision care.Looking forward to visiting Dr. Sohbati again for my next check up and would highly recommend her to any of my friends, family and colleagues!

Dr. Nurani has been my Optometrist since I was a little kid. He has always been compassionate, generous, thorough and professional. He remembers details about all his patients and created a welcoming and clean clinic to come into. I can't say enough positive things about him and wish everyone was as lucky to have a Dr. like him on their side.

I recently had an apt with Dr. Negar Sohbati and she did everything she needed to with so much patience and attention to detail. After having a baby my eye-sight has felt like it's changed a million times over and she was so helpful in explaining everything to me. Definitely going back to her for my next appointment.

I’m impressed with Dr. Negar Sohbati as she really took care of me during my visit. I had a few questions about my vision and she was able to reassure me while doing my eye exam to ensure everything was okay. I recently had a visit with my optometrist, Dr. Negar Sohbati, and it was a fantastic experience.During my appointment, Dr. Sohbati was professional and super attentive. I tagged along with my sisters for their appointment and Dr. Negar Sohbati had given me some advice and actually discussed a few things regarding my eyes as well even though I didn’t have an appointment.She was so friendly, welcoming and goes above and beyond for her patients — would highly recommend her!

I am very disappointed with Victoria Village Optometry. It seems that since my last visit, they have implemented a policy where you have to have a picture of your eye taken at each eye exam visit. This is a cost of $97 and was never mandatory in the past. Since I had the photo taken last year, I thought that I would have the option to not have it done this year. However, upon arrival, I was told that this is a mandatory part of the eye exam and since I did not agree to have it taken again, I was turned away from getting my eyes examined. I know that the last time I came, it was not mandatory, so this is something new. I would understand if this was set out by the Ontario College of Optometrists. However, I called another eye doctor's office and not only were they only charging $50 for the eye photo, they told me it is not mandatory for an eye exam to be completed. It's a shame that Victoria Village Optometry has changed their policy on this. As a senior, without insurance, I simply can't afford to pay $97 out of pocket every year for the photo. I imagine others who don't have the means to pay this much each time will also be turned away. Again, if this was mandatory across the board, I would understand but it is just a policy set out by this particular office. It's very disappointing, as the office is lovely and the doctors are great. However, since this is their new policy, I will have to start getting my eyes examined at another eye doctor's office, where it is not mandatory to have the photo taken each and every time.

Dr. Sohbati is wonderful! She is professional and kind. I really appreciated the time she took to explain the imaging and tests. It was very neat! The staff at the office is also terrific! I can't recommend the place more.

She definitely made my appointment a positive experience and I highly recommend Dr. Negar Sohbati to anyone in need of top-notch optometric care.

Dr Negar Sohbati is not a good optometrist. She rechecked my wife, Fahima Tasnim on Apr 19 and couldn’t solve her eye problem. Her behaviour is also not good. She has no patience. She didn’t want to understand what my wife wanted to explain to her regarding her vision problems. Nothing was changed. We actually went there knowing the fame of Dr. Areef Nurani. Unfortunately we didn’t get an early appointment. The visit to the place with Dr Negar Sohbati was really frustrating as we spent already CAD 218.00 for nothing.
