Best customer service!!! My girlfriend and I decided to grab a last minute bite to eat this past weekend. The sun was out and the patios were open. We are not from the Guelph area so we had no clue what restaurant to go with. We walked in front of NV and immediately noticed their beautiful patio and when we wondered inside we noticed the HUGE wall of liquor, to say we were impressed would be the understatement of the year. We were greeted by a gentleman named Richard who was very friendly and said we would be able to enjoy the patio shortly. We only waited a couple minutes when a table became available (to our surprise) as it was a very sunny day and the patio was where everyone wanted to be. Richard was very attentive with us and was very helpful with suggestions off the menu. He even gave us a little downtown Guelph history lesson which we appreciated. There's some beautiful architecture in that area. The food arrived quickly and it was delicious. There were two other wait staff working and they were so on top of everything, they also checked in on us. Great teamwork! Anyone thinking of coming to this establishment will not be disappointed. We are already planning another trip back to Guelph, just to enjoy more time and food at NV.

I have never left a bad review in my life but the experience I had at NV kitchen this past Friday was the WORST service I have ever had. Nobody came to our table for 15 minutes after being seated, not even to greet us or bring us waters. I order a margarita in which I was not satisfied with, it was incredible salty and strong, all 3 of my friends agreed how awful it was. I could not find another drink I wanted to order, so I decide not to get another drink and I was still charged nearly $16 for the margarita I did not drink. Never in my life has a restaurant not even a fast food chain charge me for something I did not consume. My friend got a burger, which was also a glorified frozen burger. We left and went to La Reina, the food, drinks and service was much better there. Don’t waste your money here, much better options in Guelph.

The noise level in the restaurant was overpowering. I went to dinner with a friend and left with no voice after basically having to yell all night just to be able to hear each-other. The food was average at best. Pizza was underwhelming, wasn’t fully cooked and did not taste good. I do recommend the chips and dip though, 10/10 and great potion size. The calming atmosphere and great service made my experience an overall 3/5. The server was able to make fun of the noise level in the restaurant which was funny.

Is always our fav place to go and love the atmosphere and staff. We recently had Kat and she was very attentive and really knows her tequila’s! Thanks for recommending tonight’s pizza feature Southern BBQ so good!

I’ve tried to dine on the patio here twice now. Both times I’ve been turned away, with the hostess telling me the patio is full and has “no idea” when a table will become available. Two tables were open with the option to add a third seat. The hostess would not allow us to sit at either table. We were not asked to be added to a wait list, or asked if we’d like to sit at the bar until a table opened up.I’ve never been to a patio that doesn’t have a wait list, or A SINGLE option for people who are willing to wait for a patio table to become available. No name or number was taken to be notified when a table would be available.We went down the street to another patio where the hostess/servers were way more accommodating and willing to take our business!

We came here with family for Mother's day weekend. It is a nice patio spot but the food is mediocre. We ordered a few shared plates and pizza. The Godfather pizza was dry and didnt taste well. The mussels are not so fresh. The fish cake had no taste of fish but more like a potato cake. The calamari and vegetarian spring rolls are ok.The owner said the cocktails there are really popular. So we tried out That Pink Drink" (a bit strong for me) and Ceasar. Both are decent."

Tried for the first time and really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Friendly and attentive service as well.We split the beef sliders to start, which were tasty and had well balanced flavours. My partner got the wings tossed in Frank's - they were crispy, large and tasty, and came with a yummy dip. Would have liked to have been given some veggie sticks to go with them, they were kind of sad without a side and carrots/celery are a classic.I got the hot honey chicken pizza per the server's recommendation. I assumed it was breaded chicken pieces (when I think hot honey chicken" I think Southern fried chicken) - it wasn't

The place was ok. The dj was nice and played our song requests, the staff was not rude but not really friendly either, they were rushing everything and not really engaging with us very much or offering us things like even coasters or glasses for our drinks. Every time we ordered too we had to pay like we were at a dive bar and they thought we were going to skip out on our drinks, have you guys ever heard of opening a tab with a credit card?Then we went to order one last beer and then without ever announcing last call the server said 'sorry it's 2 I can't serve you'. Never been anywhere when they don't call last call, I think that's bad bartending, plus it's makes your business more money, especially on a Friday night.My brother and I were literally working all day and we're just looking to hang out and grab a few drinks cause we don't go out much and have fun. The experience really left a bad taste in our mouths.

Great place for drinks and food. They have a large patio (summer) and a good sized inside seating area. They offer a HUGE selection of Bourbon!Our server, Sean, was great! Very friendly and made our experience too notch.

Had lunch with the family 2 weeks ago at the patio. Food was ok. The staff were very friendly and prices were reasonable. It was a Friday afternoon, so patio was full and had to wait half an hour to get a spot. They kept the fire running to keep us cozy despite cold temperature. Overall very happy about this place.
