Twisted Family Karaoke is one of the best shows around. The owner, Crissy, is just an amazingly beautiful person inside and out. For karaoke, their song selection is amazing, and Crissy can download new stuff on the spot! They also do weddings (I’ve been to a couple they’ve done), and they bring the house down with their music selection!10/10 highly recommend!!!

The music selection is the best I've seen! The attention to the acoustics is top knotch as well.I've been to lots of karaoke shows and have gotten to know many karaoke hosts. Crissy is someone who knows how to entertain and helps motivate the more modest to confront that mic.Keep twisting things up ladies! You bring alot to our world sharing the love through music. I've had the pleasure of attending a few karaoke shows and had such a great time! Crissy is not only a great DJ, she is energetic, personable, genuine, talented and just an overall fantastic person! She is honest and reliable and has such a way with people that she will make you feel like a friend not just a client/customer. Highly recommend!

I have always been extremely enjoyed karaoke at the many venues that Crissy and her staff host. They are all professional and skilled at what they do and provide the service with superior customer service. So much so that I have hired them for a DJ event through my employer which as always they did an amazing job. My staff were all impressed with the service and the host . The staff are very approachable and knowledgeable. I would recommend them for any event regardless how large or small as they will exceed your expectations.

Do not hire this company for weddings! I felt scammed when I hired this mother daughter duo for my wedding. To start they sounded like nice capable people. I was disappointed to find out the day of my wedding that was not the case. The DJ Chrissy did not even have the decency to download important songs for the important first dances and they skipped the entire time because she played them off WIFI. We could have used our downloaded Spotify playlist instead and saved ourselves $700. Everyone was so disappointed. She also did not match our music taste when playing music during dinner and played songs that we did not enjoy. She did play our playlist during the dance part of the reception that worked out, but still no better then using a Spotify playlist. We even had guests request songs and she could not accommodate. As for the wedding planner, she provided a discount for it being her first wedding done in Lethbridge as they are originally from another province. I had originally just wanted her to help with the day of the wedding coordination as I didn't want to have to worry about how that was all going to go , however she was willing to decorate and coordinate everything. She told me to let her know if I needed help with anything and was willing to help with more then the day of coordination. and I was hesitant because of the discount to ask for more then the day of planning. but I really needed the help. Unfortunately it appears she has never planned a wedding before. Basically, she was very unprofessional and would make up excuses for why things were not done or why she couldn't send pictures of things (I hardly got any pictures of anything through the whole process). She dressed in Pjs for our rehearsal and was terrible at guiding us through what we were all supposed to do. The day of many of the wedding party did not know what to do after the ceremony and she was gone for the entirety of the ceremony. She was supposed to be coordinating!!! She did not dress formally for the wedding either and it was so embarrassing. She basically wore flip flops and a casual grey dress. Basically due to her overpromising herself and saying she could do many things, a lot of everything would have been a total disaster. However, thankfully my family did step in and fixed mostly everything the day of the wedding. She was extremely disorganized and asked so many questions that I basically planned the wedding myself. Also she should not have made promises to be a decorator when she was not. I would have hired a separate decorator if I knew how bad she was at it. I had stated I was going to rent arches for the wedding and Rylee insisted she could make them and it would cost less. I was very hesitant but she really sold herself saying she could do it. She also tried to say the same thing and tried to make the wedding cake for us too. But I really wanted the cake to be perfect so looked elsewhere, and I'm glad I did. The day of she showed up with two small wood decorations and the big arch was no where to be seen. These were supposed to be wonderfully decorated in the reception, but that did not happen. She lied to me saying the big arch broke [doubt she made it in the first place]. She could have just told me it was not going to work out and that we should rent some. Luckily we rented a separate gold arch for the ceremony the other arches were supposed to be nice reception decorations. Basically, she used my family as laborer's, decorators, and was gone for pretty much the whole ceremony. She did not fulfill most of the promises she made and often lied. Honestly, if it was her first wedding and she was more honest I would have been more understanding. But that was not the case. At least she was able to clean up the venue at the end. My family and friends stepped in a lot where she should have been there the day of. I honestly, don't think this is the field she should be in.

I am a local wedding coordinator and I have had the pleasure of working with Crissy on several weddings now. Not only is she a blast to be around, she knows what she's doing 110%! Hire her for DJ services, you won't be disappointed!! She knows how to read the room so well, and constantly has the vibes flowing. I recommend her services HIGHLY. You will not be disappointed.Apart from herself, her set up is *chefs kiss*. You won't have an issue worrying about any audio or sound problems. 10/10, you need to book her for your weddings!

I had not been out in any social event for years; I suffer extreme anxiety and am so very self conscious. From the moment I walked into the club house, I was greeted by a big beautiful; sincere smile. This smile belongs to Chrissy, The heart and soul of Twisted Family Karaoke BC/Alberta. Her bubbly energy comes from not just the outside; there is no faking that. She is a rare gem to find at this age of life. I found myself quickly relax, and for the first time in YEARS, I wanted to go back for more! Her sound system; let me tell you about the sound system!! Not only does Chrissy have “all the songs” (and can sing each of them beautifully), the system/speakers/mikes/‘she runs makes everyone sound wonderful! Chrissy engages with the entire group, she doesn’t single favourites out; she encourages and compliments each performance as it was the best she has heard. If you are looking to book private; business, weddings, I don’t normally endorse as I believe it’s needs to be extraordinary. Believe me when I say.. Twisted Family Karaoke BC/Alberts and your incredible hostess Chrissy; will create memories that will last a life time.

I was a day of coordinator for a wedding that Crissy was the DJ & MC at, and she was the BEST to work with! Everyone thought that she was a friend of the bride & groom because she was such an amazing MC and made it personal & had the reception flow so nicely.Her and her daughter are an absolute joy and the full package deal! … and if you hire Crissy for an event - ask her to sing a few songs! Her voice is amazing, and no one realized she was singing at first as she sounded identical to the song artist!If I could give more that 5 stars I would!!

Crissy was such a great DJ! We had karaoke at our wedding and she had the everyone singing lots and having fun. There were people that I didn't think would sing and she managed to convince them, some of them more than once. She was also great about remembering things I forgot about, and picked up slack in areas where I wasn't really prepared as much as I would have liked. I would have her again in a heartbeat and I am so glad we found her. I can't wait to go to another event where she is there.
