Best investment to make my children's screen time with purpose. The program is very receptive to feedback. It allows making switches to classes or scheduling make-up classes. The small class size also keeps the kids focused and engaged. I highly recommend this program.

MakerKids is a wonderful program with fantastic instructors, great customer service and most of all, kids have fun and learn! I highly recommended MakerKids.

My son attended the Robotics and Coding trial classes. I asked if he enjoyed them and if he made any friends. He said the kids all worked together: “We were all friends!”. That was so nice to hear. As a mother, it’s a great feeling to see my son excited and engaged in new activities, as well as seeing him learning how to collaborate with others. Teamwork is such an important part of life. I would heartily recommend MakerKids. Fantastic experience and great staff!

Very interactive place, friendly staff and up to date software. The only catch is that since my son was in aftercare at MakerKids so i was unable to interact with teachers regularly and had to actively probe my child's learning as no one in the after care knew that info.

Both my children 6 and 9 love Maker kids. My 6 year son can't wait for Minimakers and after 5 months of my talking about how great minimakers was my 9 year old daughter athletic daughter asked to sign up for Minecraft and she loves it.

My son joined back in APR 2020. MakerKids' Incubator Camp was a great class and helped him navigate the different programs being offered. He eventually joined the Weekly Camp and carried on for 2 years. MakerKids definitely helps with the kid's mental health too during this trying times as it gives them sense of accomplishment after working on projects every session. It helped my son a lot with his computer skills and communication skills. He advanced naturally and now helped his teacher at his regular school when they moved to Virtual Learning. Both Zarah and Andrew were very responsive and accommodating with membership questions and make-up classes.

My son adores this class and his fantastic instructor. It's truly been a bright spot during all of the lockdowns in the last 16 months.

My 8 year old son signed up for the summer camp and loved it. Great focus on STEM and early coding. They used a good platform from MIT for early coding which does a good job teaching the fundamentals of software development.Money shouldn't be the reason to get kids into coding since learning to code is really about enabling creativity ..... but.....with experienced developers commanding $300K+ salaries and new grads making $180K out of school this program is well worth the investment.Thanks to the facilitators at the camp.

Our son Sasha (8 years old) attended the camp in July 2018 and he had a fantastic experience. He is already talking about coming back next summer. As a parent (and a very demanding mother) I found the staff to be very professional, the educators to be great with children, and the atmosphere to be very positive. What's more, the staff accommodated my requests and ensured that Sasha had the most enjoyable week. Highly recommend!

Highly recommend it! My son (age 8) has been in the Idea Incubator class for 10 weeks now. He looks forward to it every week and can really articulate what he's learning - which to me means that he's really understanding it.Since joining MakerKids we've talked about our experience so positively that three other kids we know have joined!! (2 girls, 1 boy).As an educator myself it's a real pleasure to see ACTUAL student-centred enthusiasm-driven learning happening. It's clear that so much thought is going in to fostering an environment where curiosity is supported and encouraged. Our son is gaining confidence and competence at a rapid rate in this program. We feel so lucky to have found this program. Great free classes to check it out too!
