I went in with a customer to pick up their dress, I wanted to look at what dresses they had for me. We went through the gift store first and were followed and watched like a hawk by a employee. We then went upstairs for the dress and to look around. We were told to remove our shoes and then told not to touch the dresses as we might get them dirty!! We were treated like we were not high class" customers. It was the worst customer service I have had in a long time. I left and did not even look at a dress for myself as I will not give them my service. Also they do not do alterations and were told if the dress is too small or too big then we are on our own to alter it. The employee even asked if she wanted to try it on

Sister was getting married and she needed a dress. We also needed bridesmaid dresses.We booked an appointment in advance. It was a wonderful shopping experience. The bridal consultant was so attentive and caring. And... patient! LOL!Even though the appointment was made for my sister and bridal gowns, we were also allowed to try on some bridesmaids dresses when she was finished.Excellent selection of bridal gowns, ranging from inexpensive to more expensive.Wish they had more designer brand names like Pnina Tornai, Hayley Paige, etc.All in all - wonderful shopping experience here. Highly recommend!

I had previously (years ago) left a bad review because of bad service in the bridal part of temptations. I am happy to correct that and now give a 5 star review to the new owners of both the gifts & home and the bridal part of temptations. They both have gorgeous stuff and are very friendly and helpful !

I walked in just a few minutes ago as I have always wanted to go in and check the selection out.I wish I didn’t, the customer service absolutely sucks it was me and my partner and no one else in the store but 2 workers, and they didn’t acknowledge us at all.They always say to “shop local” but when the local is rude why would I give them my hard earned money.I would rather go to winners were the people are friendly and prices are good

My dress is nice and perfect but the service is mean unhelpful and rude they didn't give me any main information and wouldn't tell what size they were going to order my dress in. The rudly spoke to me and treated me like a child. They have nice dresses but it is not worth it at all.

The owner is rude beyond words.She treats her customers obviously differently:I sense racism.On this forum it has been stated that she acts differently if she knows you. That makes her rude and racist on purpose, as there was no warning sign saying ‘for my in-crowd only’.The employés were kind, helpful and professional.Fortunately, the dresses in this store are not exclusive.

Whenever we visit Hanover, this place is always on our list of stops. It has recently switched ownership so we were curious to pop in and see how everyone was settling in. WOW. What a breath of change they've brought in! The store looks beautiful and has such a wonderful selection of home decor, unique gifts and serving ware. They have maintained the feel and comfort of the store, but brought some visual impact with the openness and high ceilings Sad we have such a long journey home - I would have brought so much more back with me! Excellent transition - well done and worth a visit.
