Velvet helped us land on an overall feel for our home. We were limited on time we could spend with Velvet, however, the suggestions she gave us really helped guide us in a direction we wanted to go. Very happy with our results.

I had Velvet come over for a design consult before starting our reno project. She was very helpful with responses about our layout plans, ideas for kitchen optimization and material and colour choices. I would highly recommend her.

Our general contacted Velvet to have the design of our house done. She was quick and responsive to our needs. It took several revisions, but we got a design which we liked. Our project consisted of re-modelling 2 bathrooms. Velvet was quick to understand our needs and tastes. Her design ideas were creative as well as practical. Velvet was able to expand on my ideas, to provide imaginative solutions to my every need - especially storage! She also made shopping a breeze. She quickly narrowed down the thousands of selections , such that – hard to imagine - we had everything picked in a matter of hours! Velvet is most efficient, and provided us with follow-up notes at each step along the way. She is a pleasure to deal with and her energy and professionalism ensured that we were very pleased with the end result.

Velvet worked with us on the design and product selection for the renovation of our home. She met several times with us for the design of our Reno’s and took great interest in getting our sense of style and color to “get it right”. She met with us at every supplier to help with choice, color and style. She had a great ability to see “what worked with what”. She would offer her ideas but was always receptive to our thoughts and never left us with a sense that our choice was “wrong”. She encouraged us to share our thoughts and was always open to new ideas. We wanted a modern look to our fireplace and finish and she designed and sourced out people/companies to provide the service and we are thrilled with the result. As well, she listened and was able to design the modern mirror design and lighting for our powder room and source out the product and labor to again provide exactly the look we wanted.Velvet’s enthusiasm and outgoing manner was always evident. She set up appointments around our schedule and was always prompt and efficient with our time. We felt very fortunate to have been able to work with someone so flexible and excited to share in our renovation.I would highly recommend Velvet to anyone looking for design work for their home. She was absolutely wonderful to work with.

Little Red Door literally transformed my kitchen. Our cabinetry wasn't functional. We had received quotes from another firm that was over double what Little Red Door came in at. Little Red Door offered some unique solutions and now we have more storage than we know what to do with. The work was done efficiently and of superior quality. I highly recommend Little Red Door and will absolutely use them again.

Velvet was such a gem to work with. She kept us focused, helped to make sure every space in our kitchen was efficient and optimized to the way we work! She had great ideas and a wonderful way of interacting that made us comfortable and confident in what we were doing.
