My son was referred to Dr. Waheed by his Ped. We were looking for medication options for depression.First off I had to circle downtown to find parking (paid of course). The building is very unwelcoming and dark as you enter. You have to approach the main desk in the foyer. The security types something into some futuristic screen on the wall which allows you to enter the elevator. There are no buttons so you are sent to the correct floor. - this seemed really surreal but ok. Then walk into the office which feels like something out of a science fiction movie. Tiny reception desk with a woman at a computer. When asked for a copy of the paperwork I submitted, I was met with confusion and a you'll have to ask the doctor...." she had no printer or anything. Then we sat down in the waiting room. There was a large wall tv playing "calming scenery and music". It seemed very forced. Not relaxing or child friendly or welcoming at all. When Dr. Waheed came from his office to meet us

If I could give no stars I would. I’ve haven’t even been with sky for a year and I’m ready to go. They have ignored my messages and begs for help. I can’t call them and the only way to get in contact with them is through their dumb app and the refuse to converse with you any other way. My family doctor hasn’t heard anything from them since I started seeing them and several times I’ve asked to transfer their file and control of my meds to my family doctor but they haven’t said anything. I am basically trapped on a medication that doesn’t work and my family doctor couldn’t do much unless they had approval. Avoid sky psychiatry at all costs.

I had to wait 9 months in order to get an appointment here, and my hour long consultation session was over in 20 minutes.I NEED help, and this place only made me feel worse. The first 15 minutes with the doctor was asking random questions, I was then told I have symptoms of PTSD (WHICH I WROTE ON THE FORM YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT). She then tore off a piece of paper and wrote a name of a medication on it and said to go to my doctor to get a prescription, even after I said I wasn’t looking to get stuck on meds. I was hoping for psychotherapy or just someone to listen. No second appointment, no one to talk to, I’m suffering and I felt invisible walking out of there.Honestly I felt that wasn’t a shred of compassion, she clearly couldn’t care less. Please PLEASE don’t waste your time waiting to go here, for me it was my something I had hoped would start a path to getting better and now I feel nothing. Go somewhere where they actually care about you.

Dr. Waheed was like a brick wall and showed no emotion well chatting with him. I didn't feel welcomed or comfortable in the office. He diagnosed me in one appointment with him. I don't know if he got the whole picture of my situation. He wanted me to take medication and sent me off. Dr. Waheed didn't explain to me what he was doing on the I pad he had, if he told me what he was doing it may have made me more comfortable.

My teen daughter saw Dr. Waheed. She was reffered by our GP to hopefully get a diagnosis. He met with me for 20 mins and with my daughter for 10 mins. He told us to go talk to our doctor, she has PTSD. He will check in, in six months. I'm really not too sure what the purpose of this appointment was? I was under the impression she would need to meet and conversate with him a few times before he could even say anything? I'm not sure anyone can possibly know anything about a person's mental state after having a ten minute conversation with them? I'm going to let my doctor know this is not somewhere he should refer people to for any help. You will leave very confused about the entire interaction. You will wonder what exactly the point was!
