This is a real gem right downtown but still on a quiet street. From welcoming hosts, to ample space and amenities, this is the best option for a hotel stay in Barrie.

Such a great surprise to find an entire apartment for less than the cost of a bare bones hotel room! Terrific facilities, very quiet, and the downtown location is extremely convenient. I will definitely recommend Parkside House to family and friends.

A good sized well equipped room. Host, Mark, was friendly and greeted me on arrival.Everything was fine and would be great for a short stay. I only stayed one night as I was travelling on.

A great stay! Very cute suite, amazing location and very good price. We have no complaints and are very pleased with our stay. The bed was super comfy & we were thankful for the coffee in the morning ☺️

Really appreciated the great place to stay, the awesome kitchen replete with great guidance on proper disposal of recycling and compostable, tips on local eateries, even a beautiful greeter kitty-cat at the entrance way. The space itself has a wonderful energy and was very comfortable. The location is within very easy walking distance to a great path along the lake and good food. Next time I need to lay my head in Barrie, I will book here for sure.

I just spent the night here, it was great. Tastefully decorated with great amenities. The bed was very comfortable, but my the part with the bignsoaker tub I had in the room. I spoke briefly with the owner in the morning and he was so friendly. Coming to Barrie? Stay here. Already in Barrie? Stay here anyway.

Amenities could have been better. The place was clean enough, but the guy running the place was a bit of a spaz / dramatic.

Stayed in Suite #1 and loved it. Full of charm, very cozy, immaculate, wonderful bed and linens. Beautifully appointed. Felt completely at home and extremely comfortable. So totally superior to staying in a hotel. Lots of attention to detail. Who else includes makeup remover pads - with vitamin D and alcohol free no less?? And real coffee cream. So many really nice touches. Met the host and the resident kitty cat. A warm and friendly greeting by both:). Looking forward to returning very soon. Thanks very much for the great experience!

The Airbnb is spacious with a lots of natural light. The only small problem we had was the fact there wasn't a thermostat for our flat and that only the kitchen window opened to allow fresh air in also we couldn't find the aircon units remote. Would definitely stay here again as it was ideal for walking into town/around the edge of the lake.
