Definitely eat here if you get the chance. I had the Cubano for lunch and then the Santa Fe breakfast bagel the next morning on gluten free bread. It almost busted our brains it was so yummy. I wish I could eat this every day. The chef/owner uses the best ingredients and you can tell.

Best coffee in town!! Loved their bread pudding and Lindt chocolate brownie! Chocolate chip cookie was yummy, too.

One of the best cafes I’ve been too! Ordered a sandwich and soup for lunch. The food came out very quick, was incredibly delicious and the customer service was top notch! Ended up going back up to get some amazing baking too! Everything about this place, from the people running it to the decor, was an absolute treat! Will definitely be going back again in the near future!

We traveled to Fairmont Hot Springs for a few days and luckily stumbled upon Adrians local coffeehouse. He was welcoming to their beautiful town and served us fantastic cappuccinos and scones with a smile. He even took the time to sit down and talk to us about some local hidden gems. Can’t thank him enough for the hospitality

First, I LOVED the coffee - great flavor and expert preparation. The in-house baked cinnamon rolls with the perfect amount of icing along with the chocolate croissants are delicious and the atmosphere is warm and friendly.

We were on a trip with Fantasy RV Tours and stopped at the Hot Springs. This coffee shop was recommended to us so we stopped on our way to Banff. I’m so glad we did as the coffee and food were wonderful. Service was supreme and the owner was an absolute delight. If you are in the area please stop in for coffee, tea or iced latte. Get a croissant or a breakfast sandwich and enjoy, you wont be sorry. Thank you again fro your hospitality and smiles. Stephanie Day

Worth a visit for the food and exceptional customer service!I have now visited the Local Coffeehouse a couple times, trying their cheese scone, cinnamon bun, grilled cheese, and breakfast sandwich - all of which were very delicious and I would highly recommend. The owner Adrian is quite friendly and I had a great conversation with him during my second visit. I have had a couple lattes (and tasted the vanilla latte) and this appears to need some refining. The beans used when I visited were stolen church espresso, which is my favourite roaster in the Invermere area. The espresso, however, tasted quite over extracted and burnt/ashy in the latte, indicating perhaps the grind was off or the brew ratio could be tweaked to get flavours similar to what the roaster produces in their shop. All in all I had a great experience at the Local Coffeehouse and will be back next time I'm in the area. I look forward to seeing how this shop grows!

Excellent coffee house. The espresso beans are roasted locally in Windermere. The owner Suzanne, was very friendly and likeable. I ordered an Americano and it was fantastic! They were in the process of making a cake, so they do baking as well. The inside is very comfortable, with a slow sleepy town type of atmosphere. It's a place where people have the time to talk to you and aren't in a big hurry. My kind of place! Will be back again.

Stopped by here for an afternoon fix, and was not disappointed! Delicious mocha with milk alternative (although it could have been a bit more chocolatey). Service was pretty quick and price was reasonable. Nice decor and seating but we had ours to go. Neat selection of local artisan wares too in case you’re looking for that special gift.

I can only assume it was the owner that took our groups order; he was so kind and inviting, good vibes right from the start. The food came to our table quickly and was delicious. We all got breakfast and a coffee. Our coffees were also top notch. It was a friend's birthday and the owner brought out a birthday treat with her food. He even went to get a candle for the top of the treat and sang happy birthday! Highly recommend a stop here for either a quick pick up on the road, or a sit down meal.
