Barbara Hall Park
Barbara Hall the liberal opportunist who opposed childcare centres and housing from being built in our community does not deserve to be honoured. This park should be renamed.

Best time to visit the dog park is during off-peak hours. During peak hours there are quite a number of dogs both small and large-sized which tends to lead to high-energy situations and lots of yapping. There are a couple of core visitors who help clean the park, without them it would be obvious there are many irresponsible dog owners using the park as a self cleaning toilet.

When it comes to visiting the dog park, timing is everything. You don't want to be there during peak hours, unless you're into chaos and constant barking. But if you swing by during off-peak hours, you'll have the place all to yourself (well, almost). Plus, you can show off your impressive frisbee skills without worrying about dodging a pack of pups. Win-win!

Yo, there's this sweet little park right by Church St. that I walk by every dang morning. It's like my own personal oasis, y'all. Get you some of that green goodness.

Cute place to wash your dog if you go for a walk and get very muddy. It’s clutch and it’s not as hot but it can get really cold in a couple of hours if you’re in a good spot and it’s a little hot and humid out

It's super fun when the park hosts the Greenspace for pride. Best to get there early before the long lines, especially on the first and last day of pride events. However, during the rest of the year, the park is mostly utilized by the unsheltered and those in need of social support as a place of reprieve.

Well laid out park, with an leash off dog park, AIDS memorial, kiddy splash part fenced off as unfortunate lots of sketchy people hanging around as the 519 community centre is next door. Not recommended to walk alone at night as can be hassled & used needles & crack pipes laying around, it is well lit & usually lots of people around as it is right on Church Street.

I love the spalsh pad for the little ones on hot days but this place is shetchy as F. I have spotted crack pipes and needles on the ground, lots of people tripping out including infront of the 519 and in the park. I guess this is downtown living as it is very eclectic. They have never bothered me while with my kids ...just be warm!
