I reached out to his office June 2022 in regards to being locked out of Fairbanks Park and asked the office to look at working with the city to maintain access for residents as the storm sewer construction takes place.It’s now 2023 and there are locks and chains stopping residents from accessing their own greenspace until 2026 (optimistically)Absolutely frustrated with the lack of action. Yet Councillor Matlow has time to say that locking people out of free spaces is ASININE

Councillor Josh Matlow represents the many and not the FEW. He is unafraid to wade into any issue that requires his leadership. He seeks to hold city employees accountable for performance and value. He was punished for speaking the truth with 10 days of his salary being taken recently. He speaks directly and truthfully. He is impressive. He deserves your consideration as your mayor.

I have heard stories and witnessed Josh Matlow's staff taking advantage of other staff members, and forcing them to work for free and doing work that isn't in their job requirements! :/ It's sad that people in higher positions take advantage of their employees.
