Bong Hong Nails

Please never ever go here. I went for some gel polish. The polish doesn't cover my whole nail the polish is very uneven I was barley able to choose my own nail color and my cuticles look worse then when I came in. Save yourself some pain and misery and please just go somewhere else.

Avoid this place at all costs. Their acrylics almost caused me a FUNGUS. The nails were so poorly done and the lifting caused water to get underneath the acrylic and started to ruin my real nail. I now have been advised to watch this nail to ensure fungus doesn’t continue to grow.

Bad service for the lady with tattoo. She doesnt know whta shes doing.she need to train on how the basic nail cleaning.highly not for recommended..

My first time there was amazing, very professional. I loved my nails they did exactly what I asked for.

I came into this nail salon for an acrylic fill. My broken tip was fixed by putting a new tip ON TOP of the broken one.. it looked awful. I was moved between three chairs and three different people. None of the chairs were sanitized in between. I seen none of the staff wash their hands or even sanitize their hands while moving between clients. I came in wanting something simple; a French manicure with a coloured side tip. The lady tried one nail and then said ‘I can’t do it’ because she didn’t have a proper brush. She then moved to airbrush and was only able to do one of the two colours that I wanted.. so I settled for the one. The lady seemed super annoyed with me when when I asked for things a different way. Overall I left pretty unhappy.

Great job on my pedicure, I had 3 technicians rotating ,changing up,in between feet soaking, nails drying,painting, etc.Nice, clean,friendly environment. Very busy salon !

Honestly shocked at how poor of a job they did. All 10 of my toes are covered in gel polish.. I should've painted my own toenails and saved myself the money and time.

I'm not from lethbridge and don't know too much about getting my nails done, but I know that I will never go back. The price for a fill and a colour was good, but really got me was that they completely ignored my reference picture. The place wasn't that clean, and when my nails were curing the lady started filing down her nails...they left my nails curing for too long

TW: bruised nails, tearing nails.I had my acrylic nails taken off since my usual artist was full until January and my nails were getting too long and snagging on things. I called in to Bong Hong nails to make an appointment and they took me the following day. When I arrived, I was shocked at how dirty the place was. I have never been so grossed out at a business cleanliness before. But I stayed because I needed my nails off. They only had two people doing nails and there were 3 clients, so they kept shifting around and pausing, so it took way longer than it should of. They did not clean the space or tools between clients. The attachments were kept in a little bowl they passed around. They soaked my fingers and the water was so hot I could barely stand it, but the guy did not speak English so when I tried to tell him he just ignored me. On the topic of language, they do not speak English at the fascility but they chatter lots, so I felt very ostracized and uncomfortable. I refrained from writing this review until now because they did take my acrylics off and it looked decent at the time. HOWEVER, it has been a week and it is very obvious they soaked my nails in acetone for too long and shaved my nail down too far. My nails keep bending back because they are so thin, three are now halfway detached from the skin under the nail. And three ripped off half way as well. I also have 4 hangnails, and a nail that the first top layer is nearly gone and just the thin layer is left. I have been going through bandaids like crazy because it hurts so bad when they get pressed on or pulled back. And the funny thing is: the price is no better than if I had invested in a 4 or 5 star salon. Do not go here. Being able to fit in quickly is not worth it.

The other reviews on here really freaked me out but I really needed a new set and I would 100% come back! The artist listened to what I wanted and made me feel really comfortable. Also got me in very last min.
