Victoria Costumes

I was very disappointed with my rental with Victoria costume. I went for a Queen of Hearts Costume for a wedding. The costume they had did not fit. So they gave me another dress from another costume. I had given them my budget beforehand. Not only did they charge me for the full costume that I did not use. (I used the red dress from it. that's it) They also charged me for all the accessories to make up the Queen of Hearts costume. Making my costume almost a $100 more to my budget. So they charged me for 2 costumes. I don't recommend this place. That's not right.

Great costume shop. Very friendly. Would recommend calling first and tell them what your looking for so when you arrive at the store they'll have a changing room with the costume your looking for all set up.

This is, by far, the best place to get a costume on Vancouver Island.The selection that Victoria Costumes has is mind blowing: the shop takes up the entire upper floor of the building and is simply stuffed with Costumes of every imaginable variety, plus their accessories.My girlfriend and I went there recently in 2016 to make selections for an outdoor Victorian party that a friend was hosting in a nearby park.We were blown away by the service and selection: we had to make reservations and when we arrived, we had a selection of costumes as well as accessories all laid out in the change area for us to choose from.The staff were extremely attentive and knowledgeable, able to help us zero in on the exact look we were searching for without feeling like we were being crowded into a choice. While the rental was not inexpensive by any means, the quality of the costumes meant that we felt very satisfied with what we were receiving for the price. It also meant that we were quite careful not to damage the costumes in any way, naturally!We definitely go back again, though probably not more than once or twice a year for special events. If you feel that You have to have the best costume in the room were at the party, look no further than this place for your needs.

Huge selection of costumes of many types and friendly, helpful staff. A really fun place--loved that they take care of all the cleaning for the costumes afterward, too!

Absolutely amazing costume selection! With the best quality costumes and accessories on the island, helpful staff, and clean and organized layout, it's easy to see why they were voted one of Canada's best costume rental businesses!

They say on their website that you should book a fitting in advance. I did not do this and yet they were very accommodating and able to help me out anyway even though they were very busy.You should probably not follow my example and be a nice customer and book a fitting time, nonetheless really impressed by the service.

Unfortunately they are closing. Greatest costume place in Victoria, southern Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. Heck it was the greatest costume shop in the world, or at least all the ones that I've been to.Highly recommended and sadly will be missed

We dropped by today (unannounced) to pick out costumes for the Victoria Masquerade Ball and these folks were the best! They fit us in without an appointment and we tried on a few different outfits before narrowing it down, with the careful guidance of attentive staff. They are very accommodating ensuring we look great. Can't wait to hit the ball!

This store has the best customer service and selection of costumes I have ever seen.They are so organized and so so attentive.I would highly recommend this tiny little gem of a store to any one who is looking for a costume, at any time of the year; not jus Halloween. Go early as I know they are going to get Busy soon!!Ill post pics of our costume soon!!
