My husband and I just returned from a trip on the Mekong, visiting cities and towns in Vietnam, Cambodia and Thailand. This is our 2nd time traveling with Avalon and we would fully recommend this operator, no reservations. Every detail is looked after. Boat and hotel accommodations were perfect. We loved getting off the beaten track, visiting very small towns and meeting locals in their environment. What was most memorable are the staff...they are local and each bring a personal touch to the conversation and learning. Can't say enough. We travel a lot and this was our best yet!

Cruise from Paris to Normandy.What an incredible journey on a clean well maintained ship. It was our first river cruise and it won't be our last. The staff were very friendly and always willing to assist you. The crew were kind also willing to assist. The captain was very hard working always lending a helping hand to get a job done. The food was great and plentiful.Thanks for some great memories.
