The service is terrible and they are extremely rude.

My wife went for a color . She showed pictures of what she wanted and they said no problem ! The picture was ash grey and when it was all said and done , she came out with light brown streaks (closer to red ) ! She was too shy to say anything at that moment but I'm just putting it out there for you guys . Go to a real salon. They were expensive probably due to a high rent , but the quality of work was definitely not there !

Went here to buy bleach and a leave in conditioner but walked out with nothing and humiliated. The woman working tried to sales pitch me into buying the most expensive products in the store. Then to top it off touched my hair, without asking me, and told me that it was not maintained and I should seek professional help... !!! Never going back.

Worse haircut i ever got...Hairdresser did not know how to work with my hair type, cut way more than i wanted and took advantage of me not having my glasses on to cut my bangs which i specifically said i didnt want touched twice. Didn't put any oil or leave-in conditioner at all before drying, so my hair was super dry and frizzy by the end. Even asked twice if i wanted it styled which i said no because clearly they were trying to get me to spend more money.... i booked for shampoo and haircut and had been there for an hour already. Cost me 105$ overall and yes i did tip, got back home and chopped it all off myself because i hated it.To frame it, before the appointment i had mid length hair long enough to be able to put it all in a claw and had been growing it for almost a whole year. At the end, it wouldn't even hold in a claw anymore. Got home and cut it in a short bob, and even when i cut off an extra 5cm of length, i could still see the shortest layers the hairdresser cut.Had a good experience when i went last year, but will never go again to get a haircut just anywhere in general. This salon doesn't understand hairstyles for young people. I completely regret my decision to go, because i just wanted a cute haircut before my trip and came out looking like i was 10 years older...

I went there to buy a shampoo and conditioner to straighten my hair. I ended up buying a shampoo and conditioner to curl my hair the exact opposite after I was told by the women that was working there that it was the product I needed to straighten my hair. Even if I asked her two times about the product. The women did not mention at any time that the products were not refundable or neither exchangeable. So I ended up buying products that I will not use and now I’m stuck with this products since I went to return with no succes. I feel that is a total scam. Mat&Max should hire more trustworthy employees and care more about their costumers....

Be warned customer service sucks! They refused to change product and I had not even exited store. Would have boughtright thing if so calledsales person would have showed it to me in the first place. Shop at Sephora amazon the bay and they all accept returns.

My husband loves this salon! I've only had a blow out here to date - but would recommend this salon!
