The owner/chef is serious and passionate in making high quality food. You will know once you take the first bite. I have been coming here since its opening. No nonsense, high quality sushi. My husband gave it extra bonus points for having wild salmon on the menu. It is the only Japanese restaurant that we've known of with that on their menu. The owner and staff are very nice and accommodating. We only come here for sushi now. So pleased for this hidden gem in Dundas. Will try their ramen next!

I was in Dundas and had a coffee across the street from Hanma. The sign was enough to make me curious. The menu was enough to make me want to eat there. As we went for brunch it was just an snack to pick up for later. The staff is enthusiastic and skilled with great experience. The food is outstanding.

Hanma Japanese foods is great. This was my first time eating japanese food other than sushi. The spicy salmon bowl was really good. I would recommend eating here. I certainly will be!

We ordered their Kaisendon,a ramen amd grabbed a few onigiri (octopus and shrimp). They were so delicious! Can't wait for my next visit!

Very yummy. We had the 24 piece sushi and the shoyu ramen. They had very good service and offered eat in our take out. We travelled over an hour to come to this place and it’s well with the drive! We’ve been to the best sushi and ramen places in Toronto and have also had them in Tokyo. This place is definitely one of the best. The sushi platter included a hand rolls and many other types of sushi. The ramen had Meat and vegetables such as eggs. Inside the place, one can also buy items such as hi chew and a ramen making kit. The store was also in a very good location. We arrived a bit early but the food was still made already. Definitely worth it!

Hanma is one of my favs! Their fish is always super fresh, and everything always tastes delicious. My go tos are the Tataki Spicy Tuna Bowl and the Yasai Don Bowl. Also really like their Tuna Onigiri. I always get a Seaweed Salad to add into my bowls (realistically I eat most of it before it even gets into the bowl though). Love that they also sell their Teriyaki Sauce bottles. I've probably purchased 4 so far. I add it to everything at home!

Incredible sushi, sashimi and spicy miso ramen. The Hawaiian Yellowtail was unlike any I've ever had. The people running it are beyond accommodating. In the world of all things Japanese, you get what you pay for, it's not cheap but you're getting top quality ingredients and extremely fresh fish. 10/10 Recommend to all Japanese food lovers!

Yum! Got a few rice bowls and onigiri takeout from their pre-packed fridge. Onigiri was exactly what I needed, so good. The vegan rice bowl was delicious as well, and all the toppings were so tasty, although i do wish there was more protein - tofu or edamame would be a great addition. The ready fridge is super convenient for a quick takeaway meal! Definitely interested in returning to try the sushi and ramen
