Thanks to JF and the team at Pure Outdoors. I rented some demo skis for several days and the experience couldn't have been better. They're open early, I stopped in 10 mins after opening, and 10 minutes later I had an awesome pair of skis ready to rock. I came back a few days later as my son needed some poles and we were in and out in 5 mins with the perfect equipment. I called several places in town prior to renting with Pure Outdoors and the thing that drew me to them was the fact that JF sources as much Canadian made goods as possible. Rented the Xalibu Tourngat skis, which I may just have to buy. Thanks again to the folks at Pure Outdoors. We'll definitely be back.

Staff were very friendly and efficient. I think we probably could have gotten more info (likely my fault for not asking more) and the recommendation for the two person kayak wasn’t ideal for a small adult and very small (non paddling) child. But I would definitely recommend them- the gear was in good condition, nice that it is located at the water so we don’t have to drive it ourselves. The online reservation system was easy to use too! Please add the SUPs to the online system :)

Bought jacket and a snow pant from here, amazing quality and good price. Also rented equipment from here, great guys amazing experience.Rent your skis from here and they have a great collection of apparel and ski gear as well.

Very friendly people, JF and Ryan are some cool knowledgeable dudes. Prices are very reasonable and the equipment is good quality. 100% the only shop we rent from!

We arrived in Jasper just before the last weekend of their winter activities. We were keen to canoe, so the owner was able to take us to the only thawed-out lake in Jasper. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. He gave us a lot of tips about Jasper in general as well as setting up a great day canoeing. The prices were also quite decent. The canoe was brand new and the paddles / life jackets were of good quality. Would highly recommend them.

I purchased an inflatable paddle board from a different store, the board was leaking air. I came in to purchase sealant to try and patch the board. The employee called the owner who was beyond helpful, offered to drive 20 minutes back to the store to help me fix the board. His advice over the phone ended up helping me tighten the seal, essentially fixing the board. This is the best customer service I’ve ever had and I didn’t even purchase the board from this store. I can only imagine how the owner would stand behind the products he sells.

Bought a pair of hard-to-find used skis from here and the experience was excellent. Customer service by J.F. (the owner) was above and beyond, from answering all questions, pulling bindings, great price, and shipping them internationally. Skis arrived in even better condition than described, stoked, thanks J.F. and Pure Outdoors!

Had a few dealings now with Pure Outdoors. I highly recommend them for supplies or rentals. Great prices and the service is great.

Knowledgeable staff and fitted our kids with ski gear without any difficulties. Very reasonably priced and would definitely come back for rentals!
