I've seen them hand out free clothing to needy people. Nice place in general. Ps.. right next to a weed shop if you are in the need for weed. Also small mini mart next door.Good place

Far Out has an eclectic mix of vintage from different eras and styles. The shop is small but selection is well-curated and organized, so it's fun to browse. The owner has a great eye. I go by pretty regularly and there's always new stuff on the racks to suit the seasons and trends. Lots of denim, flannel, velvet, dresses/jumpsuits and band shirts.

This is a nice change of pace, if you grew up in the 60's & 70's or just like the styles from the era, its all good. Prices are moderate selections are good enough, and the staff are helpful and polite, take your time, browse, no one will object. If an item isnt available the staff most likely will find it for you and rush orders will accommodate shoppers needs. Patking available with street meters, wheel chair accessable, kids are welcome. A great place to check out. They do accept credit cards and debit visa cards.

Fantastic store with so many cute things at reasonable prices -- it's one of the few places left in Vancouver where you can find affordable vintage from a range of decades. I love stopping by this store as I always find something wonderful here and the owner is an absolute delight!

Didn’t see anything of interest. Not sure what the hype was about that I read online. Also in a pretty rough part of town.Update - your reply doesn’t make sense. Google reviews are for just that. An honest review. Don’t you think people have the right to know that if they are going somewhere, it’s in a rough part of town? Besides the issue is not yours to solve but rather a bigger systemic issue that won’t get dealt with if it’s ignored. I think the “poor” people you refer to deserve attention to the fact that they need housing and help to be able to live decently in a country that should prioritize its citizens.

One of my top vintage shops not just in Vancouver but anywhere! Always a really great selection of items that are always reasonably priced. Many of my most favourite items come from this shop. Always a lovely experience when I pop in!
