White Sands Resort

Rustic paradise for family reunions. As a large family (renting out the entire space) almost every 4 years since... the 90s... for family reunions I can safely say I have a great lay of the land and MANY fond memories here. Although a bit tired and dated, that's the vibe of it! All the cabins surround a central spot for everyone to gather so it makes a great location for group bookings. You are lakefront with a big fire pit, wood and a playground for the kiddies. A dock and I believe a water tramp might still be out there, or floating dock... We have sang fireside with guitars into the evening and had many fun events during the day that our crazy fun family does - lipsyncs, ugly feet contest, cocktail offs, scavenger hunts around town to name a few. There is a local bar at the top of the hill for a drink and be sure to shower after swimming due to duck mites. That's how the millennial generation of our family was named after all. Brown Owls, Free Spirits, Duck Mites and now Skeeters will continue to rock down the Whitesands for many generations to come.

We stayed at the White Sand Resort from June 26 to July 7, 2019Had a awesome time, lots to do in the resort as well as surrounding areas. Nothing better than coffee on the dock in the morning and watching the spectular view at sunset. Hosts Betty and Greg were great!

My family and I visited extended family at the resort, for a day of boating and boating activities like tubing and wake surfing out on the lake. Wi-Fi for guests is available though unfortunately down for most of this visit. The resort seems small but cozy on the mobile home end of things, and guests are respectful of one another. The area is clean and beautiful.

Unlimited nonstop things to do OR relaxation...Whatever your pleasure.Cabins are your basic needs, you hardly spend time in them anyway. Beds comfortable, shower has good pressure. Views are lakefront, morning coffee in adorandak is the best! Owners made pancake breakfast for ALL guests on Sunday, a lovely surprise☺️

Great hidden gem. My young children spent their whole vacation on the play ground and on the actual sand beach. The cabins have the necessaties and no more. It was great to actually connect with the family without the distraction of technology. Great place to take your family.

Rustic and quaint cabins on the beautiful Shuswap lake. The cabins are old, you'll notice that immediately, but they are spotlessly clean. The cabin we were in slept six, including a queen or double bed in one bedroom, two single bunks in the other bedroom, and a futon in the living room. It also comes with a kitchenette, dining area, two tv's, and a small bathroom. The veranda has a couple of chairs and you have a patch of lawn to stretch out on. There is parking for one vehicle next to the unit and you share a barbeque with your neighbour. The cabins are duplexes, so I recommend vacationing with friends and get them to rent the next unit. My stepson was in the neighboring unit, so we visited on the lawn every evening.The resort is great for families. It's more expensive than camping, but with the private beach, playground, and room for six, it's hard to beat and you'll never find a hotel at this price.So load up the swimming gear and Uno Flip and book a week here for the family!

Amazing waterfront cabins. Clean & cozy

We had our family reunion here, about 35 of us and myself and my parents stayed in cabin number 9. Owners were most helpful, and wonderful to work with.Great set up provided in the cabins, bring your own towels and that was about it.Excellent spot for a getaway to this beautiful, peaceful part of British Columbia.So much to do on site with wonderful playground for smaller kids, and beautiful beach volleyball courts for older kids.Very nicely set up to Moore boats, launch is right next to Cabin 9.Do not miss out, this gem of a spot books up quickly. We highly recommend booking in advance.
