This store has been a source of inspiration for me in all kind of projects. From needle felting, embroidery, sewing and not without mentioning knitting! I am so amazed to see how many free patterns are shared and also how much inspiration you can get from just visiting this beautiful store in Toronto. EweKnit has such a unique and broad selection. Brands like Merchant & Mills, Hamanaka, Dear Stella, Nani Iro, Cocoknits, Hook & Line Tinker, La Bien Aimee and so on!Retail is not easy, and I think everyone at the store do their best to help you out with your projects!

Have purchased 2 knitting kits on-line. After the most recent purchase, changed mind. Wrote an email in less than 24 hours after placing order and tried to call. This establishment does not return emails and does not answer their phone. When someone finally did answer the phone(on Monday. Today is Thursday) she said someone would get back to me. I have yet to get a response to my email (sent over 4 days ago) and/or my phone call.Whoever answered the phone did say that the sale was most likely final. I was hoping to speak to a manager before they cut the yarn to see if we could figure something out. No response.

Great service. Fast delivery (2-3 days withing Canada). Shipping a little expensive. Most producs Made in Canada.Recommand this place.Will go visit on my next trip to Toronto (Montreal area here)

This store is very aesthetically pleasing, has a very large selection in store and it's close by. Their website is not my favorite to navigate. The wait time on pick up orders take quite a while, making it better to just go to the store. The issue with going in store is the staff is not very friendly. Expect to know what you need, otherwise you'll get the side eye while you're shown where to go, haha. All in all, a decent store, not always a go to.

A gorgeous store with an impressive selection of yarn and a beautifully-organized, rainbow-coloured display of their products. It is one of the few stores in Toronto that carry Valdani and Sajou products although the selection was limited. The store has a good selection of knitting and crochet books, along with an array of cute needle felting kits and other craft projects. For tatters like me, it would be a dream to see more tatting-related supplies and threads available.

Just over 3 weeks ago, Eweknit had a sale. I purchased a Merchant & Mills pattern and was eagerly awaiting its arrival . Given it shouldn’t take that long to arrive from Ontario to BC, yesterday I wrote them and enquired as to what was happening.Well, it seems that the pattern was out of stock ( so WHY list it?) and somewhere along the line they forgot about my order and didn’t bother to inform me OR refund my money. Shoddy and completely incompetent. Stay away from this company. This isn’t the fist time I’ve experienced poor customer service with them.

Bought a “kit”, and what a mess. First of all it took almost 4 weeks to get the yarn, but not in the colour I ordered, or even the second choice. But it FINALLY arrived. But no pattern. Ah, that’s separate. A kit is not just the yarn. That’s just yarn. A kit would be the whole deal! An extra $60 for the pattern and now I feel completely bamboozled.

I would give negative 5 stars for this store and lack of customer service if I could. I purchased 5 skeins of an expensive yarn and someone called me saying 4 skeins were the same dyelot but 1 was different and she said she could not tell the difference. She said they had no more left in the store and did I want her to send it or I could wait until they had more. I said to send because if there was no visible difference it was okay. When the yarn came not only was the dyelot different on the 1 skein. It was the only skein of the 5 that was the right colour number. The other ones were colour 4 and I asked for 4s. Colour 4 was made from lighter sheep and colour 4s was from darker sheep and the difference was extremely noticeable. I called them asking for a refund and was told to send a picture which I did. Then I couldn't reach anyone. I would call and they would answer and ask me to hold before I could even speak and they would never come back and I held on the phone for 30 minutes or more. I went back on their website and to my utter shock it says they have 8 skeins in stock of my colour 4s that I wanted. So I emailed asking for an exchange or refund or SOMETHING and again....no response.These people are scam artists and I will never ever ever EVER shop here again. I live in Alberta so it isn't a matter of going to the store and asking for a refund.They just used me to get rid of yarn that didn't match.I advise that you NEVER shop here and if you do be extremely cautious especially if you don't live close. They are underhanded and they are liars. Not somewhere I will ever do business with again.There are too many good yarn shops out there that will strive to keep customers happy. You don't have to shop in shady places like this one.March 17th -I want to add to this that they did refund me for my return to them. But I still will not shop with them anymore. The customer service is awful, when I did contact them to make sure that they received the yarn I sent back the person I spoke to said she did get it and she was looking at it and she saw no difference in colour. I did see a difference most definitely and since I am the one paying for it and knitting it in a sweater, my opinion is the only one that matters in this regard. I just found them difficult to deal with, so why go there, too much in the world is difficult these days, why go looking for it.

This is a gorgeous store. Everything is beautifully arranged. Lots of yarn and fabric selection along with other needle crafts. Lots of samples up and around the store to see the products in action. A selection of kits also available.The staff is hit or miss. Sometimes super friendly/helpful and other time snobbish/standoffish.I've been numerous times - sometimes bought a lot, sometimes nothing
