Super 8 by Wyndham Kamloops East

So i ask them if the rooms are quiet" because i am working night shift and they lie straight out to me. The train goes by that hotel 3 times a day and night

We stayed here for 2 nights in a non-smoking room on the 2nd floor. When we first entered the room it was nice and cool because they had turned on the a/c for us, and the room didn't smell at all. The furniture like the chairs are stained but I was really happy to see that both of the mattresses on the bed had either a plastic cover or a completely encased zipper cover. And the free breakfast is good, there's a hot waffle iron so you can have fresh waffles every morning. I've attached a picture of the bed and 2 pictures of the breakfast room.

We stayed with Super 8 twice on our trip (leaving and returning). The location was convenient, we checked in late without a reservation, staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean. We would stay here again.

Hands down the most disgusting place. The smell walking into the room was over powering, since it was so late I had no choice but to stay. The noise from passing vehicles and trains was enough to wake the dead. How can you charge so much!!!The staff on the other hand were great.

Rooms weren't terrible as a lot of the reviews say they could be abit cleaner but that did not bother me. what DID bother me however was when my husband and I were in our room (after we had already said no thank you to house keeping) and had 3 staff members just walk right into our room without a knock or a warning or anything. They closed the door and walked out after seeing us but this was right as my husband was coming out of the shower and was fully naked. I immediately went to the front to tell the manager what just happened and he said 'I am so sorry I will see what we can do and left it at that. when I checked out I mentioned this to the front desk staff who was a different staff member and all he said was 'Oh well we said we were sorry'. not only an embarrassing incident but super frustrating also."

Not bad at all! Not sure why the other reviews give the place a low score.Rooms were spacious and they provide efficiency rooms which have kitchens, so that is a big plus. Staff is in general helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good enough, offering juices, boiled eggs, bread/muffins/bagels, cereals, and also provide waffles. Good enough for kids as they have fruit loops and frosted flakes for cereals (both kids favourites) and with waffles that fill my kids up. Folks, remember! This is Super 8, it's meant to be a budget option, and as a budget lodging option this Super 8 met or exceeded my expectations. Definitely infinite times better than the other s***hole The Hue which cancelled my 4-month advanced booking despite I told them not to

Bed bugs . We left at 11 pm because they were all over the beds biting us . Unacceptable especially after now seeing this was already a problem . There were hundred of them you can’t even see on the pictures , tiny black ones and the visible bigger ones , in our hair , biting our legs …. It was the most disgusting hotel experience of my life . Mold on ceilings . Surreal .

Really comfortable, clean, well maintained. The view of the mountains is incredible!!The pool is spotless clean and warm!It's right next to the highway so it's a bit loud but you get used to the noise quick.Great spot! Super close drive to town as well.

Excellent customer service, comfortable mattress and excellent pillows. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Location was loud but Kamloops is a loud place.Free breakfast was good!
