The Staff is friendly, professional and very loving with animals. I have piece of mind when I bring our kitty there because I know they will take very good care of him. I feel so appreciative to have this clinic in my community.

My wife and I have been taking our cats to MMAH for over 30 years, and we couldn't be more pleased. The staff are always upbeat and the changeover to the new Doctors was seamless. Our cats love the doctors (once they get there) and staff. Highest recommendations!

We just moved to the area and started taking our two cats and two dogs to Mt. Mansfield Animal Hospital. I was so impressed by their first visits! We got right in to be seen, the techs were wonderful putting our pets at ease, the vet was thorough and explained options for health maintenance well, and they patiently distracted both dog and cat with treats and pats (and catnip!) through their vaccines - honestly it's the calmest I've ever seen them for shots. I'm so happy this clinic is in our community!

I was very pleased with the care my cat received recently by the staff at MMAH. All my concerns were answered thoroughly and with patience by Dr. Mather and her Veterinary Technicians. I highly recommend this safe, caring and professional Veterinary Office.

Dr. Allana and her staff have provided outstanding care to our three kitties! We so appreciate their exceptional kindness, gentle manner and thorough health evaluations of our trio. The kitties are handled with a soft touch, snuggled (Thanks Jenn and Lynn!) and soothed (Thanks Alex!) during the exam- reducing the stress of a visit as much as possible. Renee has offered great guidance over the phone and was able to accommodate us at short notice for urgent concerns - thank you! Two of our kitties had tooth extractions during dental cleanings - teeth that were decaying below the gum line and not able to identify without an x-ray. We're so glad that this important facet of their health is addressed as it can cause significant pain if left untreated. We know we're in good hands at MMAH and highly recommend their wonderful care.When the cats are happy, we're happy!

We have taken our dogs to MMAH for over 25 years and have always appreciated their wonderful care. Dr. Barningham was simply the best. We certainly are impressed with the new Docs as well. Very compassionate, kind, staff. All of our family members have been to MMAH as well. Very fortunate to have thie veterinary hospital so close.

I highly recommend Dr. Stephen Barningham and his vet techs at Mount Mansfield Animal Hospital and will give you the 3 main reasons why I have been taking my dogs (Cocker Spaniels) to him for over 20 years and would never go anywhere else.1) When my childhood dog got extremely ill more than 2 decades ago (she was 13), my parents made the decision to help her over the Rainbow Bridge but also decided not to have her regular vet help her for some reason. Dr. Steve had recently purchased MMAH and was local, so they took her there. He and his vet techs were wonderfully compassionate and told my parents they would send a bill even though they had never met them before! A day or two later, we received a sympathy card in the mail not the bill, which would not arrive for several weeks. When I recently had to help my 14.5-year-old baby over the Rainbow Bridge, everyone was extremely understanding and even had tears in their eyes after caring for her since puppyhood.2) When I got my first dog in my mid-twenties, I began using our previous vet. One day, I had an emergency, called my vet, and was told in a rather callous way that she was too busy, it was nothing, and she would see him a day or two later. As a first-time nervous pet owner, I was not about to wait so called MMAH. Again, although I had not gone there before, the vet tech quickly told me to hold on while they called Dr. Steve (it was his day off, but he lives locally) and explained what was going on. He was concerned enough to come into the clinic less than an hour later to see us. After that day, I never went to another vet! Several times over the years, he has come in early, stayed late, or seen us on his day off. Dr. Steve and his techs try to accommodate their patients as much as possible, which I greatly appreciate.3) Fast forward two plus decades, and now I own a very nervous rescue Cocker Spaniel. Hannah has diarrhea when she gets nervous, but she is usually pretty good for Dr. Steve and his lovely vet techs (all wonderful ladies, by the way!). One day though, she went all over the table and Dr. Steve's hand, shirt sleeve, etc. Without blinking an eye, he said, Well

Our current pet is the third to have been a patient at MMAH. I feel all of our pets have received excellent care here. I love that I get to see familiar faces whenever I go or that I can put a face to a voice if I call. I truly get the feeling that they all enjoy what they do in caring for my pets. I trust their advice and never feel like I need to question any treatments. The office is clean and convenient. I appreciate having them here for us.

Dr. Allana and her team have been caring for our 3 dogs for about 5 years. We always leave the office with a positive feeling. They are very tuned-in to our pets, ask relevant questions and are very warm and caring. Costs for services are reasonable too. We are so glad we found Mt. Mansfield Veterinary Hospital.

Had a terrible experience with the new vet Dr. Curly today. She is not capable of working with big dogs and was scared from the start. She had missed lumps on my dog in Jan which is why we were there today. She called in a tech to help her, who was equally as incompetent with big dogs, They asked me to leave the room as maybe the dog was being protective of me. While standing outside the door I could hear them struggling with my dog and laughing about the comment I made to Curly about how my dog could sense her apprehension. It was obvious. After a minute they called me back in. My dog had a muzzle on and was panicking. My dog has never worn a muzzle as she has never needed one plus they did not ask me. My dog was so scared and is still traumatized by the experience. Dr Barningham was amazing this lady should be a cats only vet. So disapointed,
