Once Upon A Child Langley

Bought 10 outfits for daughter n' law and she lives out of town. She loved all of them. Great staff. Helpful and cheerful.

Great varied selection of merchandise and they are very organized as well. Prices are reasonable and the staff is helpful. Highly recommended!

I used to visit the Langley location years ago and used to have a great experience. Tried it again recently and unfortunately the staff are very rude with zero to no patience. I don’t have any experience in buying but I can certainly say it’s not worth selling her. Little to no money for even pricier items, you might as well just give your items away for free!

Decent place to shop but not worth selling baby clothes there. They're extremely picky about what they take. I was told my items weren't accepted because of pilling/stains when they were all in great condition.

I visited this location because I saw their Instagram saying they need baby gear. I dropped off items including a stroller. I waited less than an hour for the estimation and went back to the store. It was an okay experience dropping off and estimating. But I wasn't provided with their estimation at all and they didn't inform me anything about it.Before accepting anything from This location, ask for the details about what they accept and how much. Otherwise, you are the one fool!

I really like this place. They have a decent selection. I usually enjoy wandering around and looking through the stock and they offer a lot. For almost every occassion.Highly recconmend then for the earlier years. 2 yrs or younger for a lot of their clothes. Kids grow so fast and it was so nice to go and not break the bank when you go in. My son is much older now so I go less frequently but even for older kids 3-5T there is decent stock. This is a great place for muddy buddies in the fall/winter!There's one girl who works there though who just always seems to be in a mood. When I brought in clothes to sell, she was very abrupt and rude about it. It felt like I was bothering her. She also didn't actually apply my store credit to my account after (as she said she would) so I felt a bit swindled. On a seperate day, when I entered the store ,she immediately turned around and ignored me. This was only my 3rd encounter with her so I'm confused if I did something wrong to upset her . Regardless, it might be best to avoid Monday afternoon if this bothers your shopping experience.It's a great location. I highly recommend for younger years, and check stock often. It changes a lot and things disappear quick!

When my son was young I used to love shopping here. There are tons of clothes for babies. My son is now 3 and the selection of clothes is so frustrating. When you look at the pant section it’s all jeans and maybe one or two pairs of other style pants. Not sure what 3 year old wants to wear jeans other than for special occasions. In other areas of the store I’d say there were only a few 4t jackets, bathing suits and hoodies. Maybe if staff were less picky about what was accepted and actually looked at what was needed, those with older children could shop here and find what they need!

What an amazing place! I feel the value they give you for your used clothes is very fair. I’ve seen different comments about them being picky on what they take. That makes this place that much better! You know what you’re buying is going to be in excellent condition. Would definitely come back and for sure recommend OUAC.

Brought in very good condition items for twins. Matching outfits, found that they took only 1 set and sent one home. Very frustrating to find that twin parents are not getting the possibility to buy matching outfits second hand. If a twin parent drops off twin outfits, take both if they are in good condition. Also I found they broke up outfits, I got a shirt back without the pants or the pants back without the shirt. Super frustrating to try and deal with the stuff they didn't want. I won't be going there again.
