Asplundh BC

These guys are hacks. I understand that there is a need for pruning for overhead lines but these guys have no clue how to do it to look professional when they come into a neighborhood. They butchered our cedars today as well as many trees down the road. I would never hire this company or recommend them to do work. We will now have to fix what they did, I could have done it better

One of your drivers in kamloops, white f350, pulling a side by side, decided tailgating me and then throwing the middle finger when I stopped, signaled and turned, super unprofessional.

Just wanted too give your crew working in Shawnigan Lake my appreciation. My wife and I were walking with our 4 month old and 2 year old down the Kinsol trail, when we encountered one of your crews working. They completely shut down ALL of their equipment and let us walk through. When I said thank you the gentleman said have too protect their little ears." Just wanted too say thanks again."

I would like an explanation from the Asplundh owner. Today is Monday Nov 21, 2016 and you have a crew here in the Upper Carmi area of Penticton doing brushing/slashing work for Fortis BC road easement power lines. Today, at 11:30am, I watched a large Asplundh diesel tandem axle chip truck equipped with a boom and man bucket towing an industrial grade diesel chipper park in front of my home. Two Asplundh employees sitting in the cab. I thought they stopped for a lunch break. By 1:30 pm, the truck still parked there with employees sitting in the cab, I went out to ask if they had mechanical problems and needed help. The response was that they were fine and just waiting for a radio call. They continued to sit there until 3:20 pm when they finally drove off. I have no doubt this was quitting time with ten minutes to show up at 3:30 when their day officially" ends.Now having some experience in trucks

I give this company a zero. Yesterday, 27 Sep 2018, they came on my property to trim trees for BC Hydro without my permission. They cut the lock off my back gate to gain access. When I asked the boss of the work crew why they didn't come get the key from me he said he didn't have my contact info. He said don't worry I'll buy you a new lock. I have reported them to BC Hydro. Since when do you cut the lock off to gain access to someplace you don't own? I suggest the company actually phone a few days in advance & gain access legally. When you don't get the property owners permission you don't just do what you want.

Great company. No one complains when they are working through toughest weather to help get power services back on.

horrible.not only did they severely damage my grass but they left branches and stuff lying all over that took me hours to clean up. I would never recommend this company to anyone. and you destroyed my garden. I have taken pictures as well.- damage is huge holes to my lawn, the big branches that were dragged across ripped out my SOD.- my garden fencing was broken and branches crushed my plants.- there are branches all over the lawn still looks like no clean up was done.

Your company was hired on behalf of BC Hydro to cut our trees out front of my store to keep the power lines clear. They came on Monday july 6th. We never had any notice from either your company or BC Hydro that the trees were going to be cut back.My business is closed on Mondays but i was here on an important conference call. Your company truck pulled up and blocked off the entire entrance to the parking lot so my neighbour or I could not leave the premise. No one came to knock on either of our doors to inform us that they were blocking the entrance or that we needed to move our vehicles to avoid the debris. This meant that the debris/ branches from the trees they were cutting were landing on the roof of my car and inside my car window.They also destroyed several of my flowers that i have in the garden bed in the front of my store and left a lot of the mess behind. By the time i had got off my conference call they had left, When i went outside to see the damage i was not impressed.I sent a complaint to your company via email and i havent had any follow up.

If you live in BC and see city trees that have been mutilated this is the company responsible.They are poorly trained ‘Hack & Slash’ experts!!
