Fireworks Barbecue

We decided to try this spot today after seeing a great review and it did not disappoint!!! the food was amazing as was the service! We got the po po and the 2 step... SO DELICIOUS!! If I hadn't been stuffed I would have grabbed one of the ones we didn't try. Guess that just means I'll have to go back and try them! Highly recommend!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Hidden gem and good bbq. Stumbled upon this place by accident in Mahone Bay. Cute little shop that serves Texas BBQ. You can dine in, or you can pick up frozen meals for later. Recommend this place as a stop for a quick bite to eat. Oh, yeah, great service as well!

Popped in with some of my family members this past Saturday. I had the lobster tacos, my husband had the vegetarian tacos and my Brother in Law had (not sure of the name of them - beef). They were so yummy and the owner and I chatted for a bit while we waited for our food. Super lovely lady and interesting life story of how she ended up there. I highly recommend!

I stopped by this spot after a bike ride last Friday and had to come back to leave a review! I ordered The Holy Trinity sandwich and got a Mexican Cola Jarittos for a drink.First just want to say the staff are incredibly friendly, so be prepared to experience some real Southern hospitality if you drop in.The Holy Trinity sandwich was amazing on many different levels (literally). It comes with a single pork rib pinned to the top of the bun. No lie, this was the best pork rib I've ever had in my life. I usually need to reach for some extra BBQ sauce or hot sauce when having ribs - not this one. The rub is INSANE and it was cooked to fall off the bone perfection, yet still retained its form and didn't totally collapse when I bit into it. Next the sausage and brisket were both amazing in their own right. Personally I would have preferred a single slab cut of brisket (as opposed to the fractured pieces they serve), but it doesn't take away from how good the brisket tastes and how well it was cooked. Finally the bun was soft/delicious and I appreciated the minimal amount of toppings (since the meat is the clear star of the show).Definitely a must-try for anyone passing through who's into Texas BBQ!

Ate the lobster taco and the pulled pork taco. Both were very tasty with fresh corn tortillas, with a side of yummy salsa and fresh corn chips. The pulled pork was nice and smoky with some kind of onion? and the lobster was nicely done with avocado, radish, lettuce and cilantro. Shared the two different taco lunches with my husband (each lunch had two tacos of the same kind). Service was friendly.

This place is exceptional. Great menu offered with so many choices. Food was outstanding. We had the pulled pork and rib sandwiches. Both were very tender with a great smokey taste. Toppings enhanced the flavours. Best BBQ in Nova Scotia. An amazing place to sit outside and enjoy a meal in a pretty town. 5*s to the owner and staff. So fortunate that the owner who originates from Texas has brought BBQ to Mahone Bay. All staff were extremely friendly and provided top service. Will definitely return. Don't delay, try it out.

WOW! Was not expecting world class tacos in Mahone Bay. After striking out elsewhere we popped into this place and were greeted by the friendliest staff. There was just such a great vibe around this place. Customers were chatting, chowing down, and happy.We had two kinds of tacos, and they were nearly perfect! This is real BBQ. Slow cooked, melt in your mouth protein's with understated toppings that complimented everything perfectly. Absolute gem in Mahone Bay.
