Very expensive for personal taxes. Going elsewhere

Voici ma réalité.J’ai été référé par quelqu’un auprès de monsieur Olivier Boyd; Directeur principal, insolvabilité des consommateurs.Malgré sa fonction de directeur, il a prit le temps de me rencontrer. Il m’a accordé du temps et du respect.Je suis un individu sans entreprise. C’était donc pour régler une dette personnelle.Ce ne sont pas des situations faciles lorsqu’on doit engager avec MNP, donc je salut le respect que j’ai reçu. Ce n’est pas parce que ma dette était plus faible qu’un autre que j’ai eu moins de temps. J’ai eu autant de temps qu’il m’en a fallu pour comprendre le processus. Nous avons engagé, ensemble, pour trouver la meilleure solution selon ma situation. J’ai terminé de payer la totalité de ma proposition aux consommateurs en février 2021.J’ai vu d’autres “reviews” qui piochait sur la réception au bureau. Je n’en ai pas eu besoin puisque j’ai contacté monsieur Boyd directement par courriel afin de payer la totalité de ma dette.Si vous n’êtes pas à l’aise avec le bureau, je suggère fortement de contacter Oliver Boyd par courriel pour un service excellent et avec respect.MerciHugo Desjeans

I have a difficult time even leaving one star for these clowns! I started with Richard Nathanial at the Montreal, QC office handling our account. He then passed me off to Susan Berenbaum. I am the CFO of a manufacturing company and I sent her our sister companies 2018 financial numbers on March 15, 2019. It is now June 24, 2019, and I have been following up with her for over three months now wondering when the 2018 tax return is going to be prepared and filed. I keep asking if they have any questions or need any additional information from me. NO RESPONSE! Needless to say, this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced! I myself used to work in public accounting. This type of service, or lack there of, is completely pathetic and unacceptable!!! Please do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere!

On several occasions did they push back doing my income taxes while I had to consistently follow-up with them. I was basically pressuring them to get a job done which I was paying for. They waited to the absolute last minute to complete the job and ask for information despite having the entire year. Not impressed with the untimely manner in which things are done at this institution.

The person assigned my case was great. The customer service at the office is horrible. Always in a hurry to transfer you to someone else. Once you have any agreement in place, they do not make it easy for you to honor payments as they have very limited and archaic methods of payment available to their customers. i.e. You either send post dated cheques, money gram or pay cash. No option to transfer electronically. For such a large corporation it is inconceivable that one cannot simply make payments, as with other creditors, through e-mail transfer of funds. For 2017 that makes MNP get one star
