Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club

Came here for dinner and the surroundings are beautiful. Service is very good and food quality was good.

Came here on invitation for dinner with a member. Dining on the patio outside with a view over the water, the golf course and the sunset was a dream. The course is of course immaculate and when you drive in, this private facility shows you what you are paying for as a member; lush greens, long fairways, old growth trees, Wimbledon worthy tennis courts, and an impressive clubhouse with meeting facilities a lounge and extensive dining options inside and out. The food is amazing! So many appy options; fried shrimp dumplings, calamari, crunch fries, mussels, yam fries, seared tuna; all so fresh. The entrees were likewise extensive in selection; from meat to seafood to vegetarian options and more. Desserts were so yum and interesting; we got the panna cotta and the apple pie! The wine list is as long as your arm and the cocktails are refreshing to boot! Can’t comment on value for money as it is a private club and too expensive to join just for dinner, and for a club of this stature, I would have expected the service to be faster. Once the food and drink were delivered, things moved more quickly, but slow to get off the mark. Amazing venue!

Quite simply, the best club in the province. Superb kitchen--always consistent--that never tries to get fancy with the menu. Excellent service and the venue is breathtaking. Expertly designed among the woodlands of South Vancouver, overlooking the water, on the breathtaking Musqueam lands. Incomparable. UPDATED: Huge upgrade in staff. Was good before, great now! Excellent changes to already terrific menu. Wait list to get on, but worth every penny.

Amazing venue at this private club located beside the Musqueum reserve. Restaurant food and service is great.

If anyone ever gets a chance to play for Shaughnessy Golf and country club, its a blessing and a half for them! They have top notch facility and the food is great!

veges and sides were cold, not even warm, filet was perfectly cooked and delicious as were the sides, but again cold. when the awesome server said she would bring us new mashed potatoes and veges we were so happily surprised....unfortunately they were still at most room temperature. great staff, food tastes great and good surroundings, but food temperature and other things that go with that need to be worked on

The Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club—a private golf and tennis community carved out of the tranquil shores of the Fraser River, is just minutes from Downtown Vancouver, BC. Very polite and friendly staff, great restaurant, delicious meals!

Absolutely beautiful facility. Totally didn't feel like the help" pulling up in a 10 year old dodge amongst the $200k vehicles to do a delivery for an event. Sneaking in to the members only washroom for a poop was a magical experience. Top notch washrooms."
