The new space is large and open, staff is always friendly and helpful, thou it’s not the kinda place you can always run in and out of because they provide personal assistance and are so willing to ensure you get the right product and options. Dear Purple Carrot,It is not often you find a business so dedicated to the betterment of it's greater community. I have been a customer for about 3 years but last month I had the great opportunity to work alongside the Purple Carrot team and what a pleasure and eye-opener it was to learn their story and the stories of some of their great local suppliers.First off, health and wellness are woven into every aspect of Purple Carrot from the ground up. Not just your personal health but also the community at large. From the way the staff is treated to the various healthy local products on their shelves to their wasteless/waste free philosophy and recycling practices these incredible souls are doing so much for the community it makes you wonder how you could do more. There are not enough stars for this review. LOLTheir products and prices are fair and functionally contribute to a healthier local economy by supporting and exposing local producers and suppliers.You are always welcomed with kindness, compassion and patience when you walk in and the staff has a genuine desire to help every person who enters the store. Not too mention, it's a place that provides unique, hand-crafted and local products that you may not find in your average market. You can tell that everyone working there believes strongly in the company mission. You'll find things that elevate your health, your focus, your consciousness and your mood. Also, they just moved to a newer, bigger and brighter location at 1120 2nd Ave South. It looks great in there. Highly recommend!The icing on the cake is that the owners, Cris and Cathy, are some of the sweetest and most compassionate business owners I've ever met. This is a spacious, clean new store. Although they did not have the black currant vinegar I was looking for, they did have black currant flavoured balsamic vinegar. They did not know the acetic acid percentage but phoned a couple of weeks later with the information.

Came for a visit from Calgary and needed a supplement. When we walked in it was very clean and spacious. Everything had a place and there were clearly marked signs.Gosh and the refill station. It was beautiful!

Love this Place and Love the People who own it (Chris and Kathy)! Two of my favorite people! They have a great store. So many yummy foods, fun things on the shelves! I think it's great that they have amazing products in their shop from local businesses too. They also have lovely employees. Everyone is always Kind and Helpful and seem Happy to be there. I have to add that I love love love that I can actually find things there that I haven't seen anywhere else that I can actually eat with all my food allergies. Food can taste good again YEAH! The Purple Carrot has quickly become my go-to store for quality, healthier food products that help me enjoy my restricted diet that much more than before. I get amazing service every time I visit. I also refer many people from my own business there daily because their business ethic is so sound and the owners are awesome, caring people.
