Vagabond RV Park

We stayed here from June 10-23, 2023 in our 40’ motorhome. We had 50 amp, water & sewer on site 21. Wifi was the best we’d experienced anywhere during our 4 years of full-time travel. It was much more than we hoped for and it was like visiting friends at their cabin. Alex and Daniella were sooo accommodating, kind, fun and hard-working. We had trouble with our motorhome and Alex sure helped us out!! The park has lovely views of the lake on many sites, the lake is teaming with good sized rainbows that we could barely keep off our lines!! Boat rental was perfect and very reasonable. We trolled using nothing but lead-core lines, dodger and wedding bands…no bait needed! The bows were near the surface and within 15’ for all you fisherman wanting to know exactly what you need for super successful fishing. From 14” up to a grand daddy 18” 4 lbs. Perfect size for the trout lover! There is no cell service but with their excellent wifi, we were fine with wifi calling. The Nimpo store (only thing around there since it’s wilderness) was super convenient and they have everything you need in a store including fishing lic and gear, staple groceries, liquor/beer store, gas/diesel $ propane for tanks or RV. All in all, a huge 5 star for this outfit and their hosts!!!! Can’t wait to return!

Great Rv Park on a beautiful lake. We stayed in the larger cabin. It was a spacious rustic cabin with everything you need. We enjoyed watching the float planes coming and going from our front porch. The site is pet friendly. There is a store and cafe a short walk away. You can rent an aluminum fishing boat or a canoe and explore the lake. Alex and Dana are friendly easy going hosts that go out of their way to make you happy.

Very nice people. As others have posted they are very helpful. Found out we had a shattered window on the trailer when we got there. They found a big piece of cardboard and a roll of really good tape. Nice lake with calling loons and floatplanes coming and going. Shower on the left had a leak from the toilet and was a bit of a challenge but I am sure they will be fixing that. I would stay again

Beautiful campground. We were a last minute check in and the owners were more than accommodating. The campground is beautiful and well kept. Sites are a great size and private. Lake is right there! Very family friendly. We want to go back next time through for longer. Would recommend!

My husband and I stayed for six nights at this resort. It was the highlight of our trip. The lake is gorgeous and the owners are awesome. Alex and Daniela out of their way to make us feel at home. It has a fantastic view of the lake which we were fortunate enough to be able to have our RV Lakeside. I highly recommend anyone Wanting to stay in this area to stay here.Ps They also have some cute rustic cabins that have power, kitchen and washrooms.

We stayed 3 nights in our RV right on the water.. Could not ask for a better spot.. Alex and his wife being new owners of the park did a great job making sure we were happy and if everything was ok.. The fishing is great, can hardly wait to come back and see the new docks in-place.. The Beaver float plane is a must..5 star all around...

Looking for a beautiful place to stay, relax and admire nature?Stop at the Vagabond campground!Beautiful place, lake is right at your feet with unbelievable sunsets. If you like fishing, rent the campground boat and enjoy!Wifi worked like a rocket (v important for me who had some remote work to do!)Super friendly hosts - Dana and Alex, we'll see you next year at your wonderful place again!!

Truck camper, perfect view of the lake, close to our docked boat, full hookups, clean, quiet, perfect RV spot! We had luck with the fishing (rainbow trout- even in late July, with 25C in the water), awesome swimming and great hosts. One of the few with full functional hookups, EV charging capabilities (for our neighbours Teslas), store and gas station nearby, plenty of firewood, kaiak and boat rentals.

Wonderful people and place! Highly recommend either if you have an RV or just want to stay in one of two lovely cabins. There are several boats available for rent if you want to try your luck trout fishing or just enjoy the beautiful scenery. Very nice and friendly new owners, who make it truly, a welcoming place!Loved it!

Beautiful park right on the fabulous Nimpo Lake. WiFi was very good, recently upgraded. Showers and toilets with laundry facilities should you need them. Dana and Alex have just taken over the place and we wish them all the best wishes in their new venture. Dawn and Chris.
