Stetson Hinton Chevrolet Buick GMC Ltd

I had an accident about two hours away from Hinton by Valemount and I was stranded. Had to hitchhike a ride to Hinton as this dealership was the nearest place to get a rental and they were more than accommodating with me. They supplied me a nice GMC Sierra to use with nice winter tires and my service manager Lisa that assisted me was family like matured in helping the whole time.

If only there was negative star ratings. I strongly recommend avoiding the service department at all cost. I had significant work done to my diesel truck only for their work to catch fire. The technician bypassed the relay on the battery (see picture) and created a short which caused a fire. I ended up having a much more competent dealership fix Stetsons mistakes only to find the technician used the wrong bolts on the exhaust causing an exhaust leak. Stetson was so proud" of itself for covering the cost of the work at the other dealership. Who knows what else this incompetent technician did

I would like to thank Stetson for being a very welcoming dealership. They are very great at getting straight to the point and getting whatever your vehicle needs and done as fast and efficiently as possible! I was around Stetson during the holiday season and they are so welcoming they offered me a meal while I was waiting for my truck to be done ! I highly recommend this dealership not just for the great vehicles but all the members and staff for great customer service! They made my first vehicle purchase a breeze and will be back to purchase more vehicles in the future !-Ben

I took my 21 Chevy 1500 there (Passing true on the way to work) because the service emission system lights was on.(Needed a new Def heater and Tank) Ashley In service was amazing and easy to deal with. They put me in a rental took a few weeks for parts and now have me back on the road. I highly recommend Stetson Chevy!!!

I have purchased my fair share of vehicles and i have spent a lot of time over a lot of north america dealing with a plethora of dealerships. Having said that, i was beyond blown away with the quality of service and personal touches that Stetson put into the deal we created together. I worked personally with Josh Campbell, i highly recommend him not only as a sales agent but is a genuine good person, his knowledge surpassed most in regards to the vehicles i was looking at. On top of knowledge he wasn't too pressing or pressuring for a sale, let me make my decisions, gave me time and information when i needed it and made the entire process very easy. I worked with their Finance Manager Callie Weir as well, again another amazing addition to stetson as she made it considerably easier than i have had experience in the past not only with my purchase but with my trade in as well. The Sales Manager i must say is an excellent individual as well, i dealt with him in between Callie and Josh in which he praised his employees and made me feel quite welcome.I would like to make it clear that i would not have purchased a vehicle if it weren't for the excellent people i met here.Thank you again for everything <3

On Sept 22 my husband and I purchased a 2022 vehicle from Christopher. From the minute we walked into the building, we were treated with professionalism and respect. Chris made our experience so stress free and so informative. He listened to our concerns and accommodated us in every respect. We were also extremely impressed with the quality of service that we received from Callie and also by Josh. We appreciate the thoroughness in dealing with the paperwork while dealing with Callie. We also are thankful for Josh giving us such a clear explanation of their service and of the detailed info of all the components of our new vehicle. We have never been treated as well in any other dealership as we were at Stetson. I STRONGLY recommend purchasing a vehicle at Stetson. The staff at Stetson should be commended for their EXCELLENT service!

Came in for an alignment and oil change after swapping to offset tires, they were very patient and open with the work and made sure to take their time to get it right! I appreciate open and honest work, Ashley at the service counter was great dealing with and extremely helpful with fitting me in in short time!

Was needing a truck this summer for holidays for me and my family. My order at another dealer was cancelled and resubmitted for the end of this year. Searched all over BC, checked with Colleen at Stetson and they had the model and power train I was looking for arriving at the end of that week (AT4 1500 with a Duramax). Came out of town from PG and Colleen, Callie and Sheila were the most accommodating friendly people I’ve dealt with at a dealership. Even when a couple things weren’t right, the above and beyond service I received from them was outstanding and they genuinely cared for mine and my families happiness with the truck! I couldn’t have asked for a better interaction!!

My husband I were driving from Manitoba to BC in winter conditions. 15 km outside of Hinton our engine light came on. We headed to Stetson Hinton GMC and received amazing service! Our car spent the night in the GMC urgent care and received the necessary treatment. Service managers, Lisa and Ashley, went out of their way to reassure us, be sure we knew the advantages of the GMC warranty we should take advantage of, and got us back on the road. Excellent friendly and very knowledgeable service!!
