Libro Credit Union - Branch

Not the bank that I would belong to. Had to make a e-transfer, the transfer was hacked and the bank(libro) said that they had no way to help me with this and that they said that is was my fault. Now....i have banked with other institutions and never had or been “Hacked” while doing e-transfers. And after being hacked....i was also out that no et yet I find it a libro app issue and not a email hack. And when I addressed the manager of the issue, I was told that was the cost of using their app and doing e-transfer.

I called and was trying to set up a time to meet with them. (Have never dealt with them before.) Explained I was in town, which I am not from and realized it was short notice. ( I am from small town). Instead of just saying, 'No, sorry we are booked solid'- she actually just huffed and hung up on me!RUDE!!! Will never deal with them

I truly hope that my experience at this branch is not indicative of the Libro business model as a whole.I went into this branch to open a student account with my daughter, and was met with complete indifference from the staff. The approximately four personnel present seemed to be enjoying a siesta. The one personnel who finally did acknowledge me seemed to know nothing at all about the account opening process.After an awkward ten minutes, we left this branch to open an account at the TD Bank located close by. This was a professionally seamless 30 minute process, essentially in and out as it should be.Libro: You have a VERY long way to go to match the big banks on customer service

Based on the most recent reviews Libro has become far less exceptional for most. This wasn't always the case but there seems to be a growing negative culture at the branches. The employees are more confrontational and have far less respect for customers. They are never prepared with logical answers or resolutions. They have outdated verification procedures and third party credit card applications and will become hostile when questioned about it. They are incapable of accepting criticism and quick to play victim. The general manager won't acknowledge any shortcomings and resorts to threats of canceling accounts and demands the immediate repayment of federal development loans. He should spend more time training his branch managers and staff on how to treat customers with respect and offer better and safer customer service, and less time making threats and intimidation. If you are expecting a better experience than the big 5 it won't be with this credit union.

Saturdays they never have enough staff on to accommodate the business. Otherwise a great place to bank

I bike to my job near Libro and I leave my bike chained to the bike rack outside Libro because there isn't one at my workplace. I am not a Libro customer (yet) and I don't know anyone at Libro. Today, I was happy to find my bike with a Libro towel (zip tied in a plastic bag) covering my bike seat in the pouring rain. If Libro treats strangers this well, imagine how well they treat their customers!

They are always under staffed and service is very slow. The staff are not particularly.helpful or respectful. Please do better Libro!

I absolutely love the customer service here. So polite and eager to help. It's a very comfortable setting
