I had my 4.3L rebuild just over 10 years ago and put it away in storage, and have recently just had it installed back into my 94 ZR2 sonoma sls. It runs great!! And I would highly recommend the team at K & S

Excellent machine shop. Keith is very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to defining your engines workscope. Take note, they are very busy because of their level of quality. So make sure to have a bit of time planned for your engine to be at their shop. The finished result is well worth it.

I have a unique older diesel tractor that needed a valve job and head planing. K and S didn't hesitate to take it on and do a perfect job and at a reasonble price, and did it overnight when I didn't even ask for a rush job. 5 stars.

If you see the things coming in and out of this shop you will take your projects there. Keith has been doing this for probably 30 or more years. He comes highly recommended. Based on what I know about my project walking in and talking to him he basically put check marks in all my boxes. He has forgotten more than I will ever know about Building engines. If you go to Keith you might wait a while but I'm pretty sure you're going to get exactly what you want. I would highly recommend this business. He works on some pretty high-end projects. I think he runs the business with his wife. They are both very personable and fun to talk to.

I brought in an engine May 28th, it had spun a bearing and I was hoping to get an estimate to have it repaired. I am told they will get back to me within a week. After no communication I follow up June 12th, they haven't gotten to it and I am assured they will before the end of the week. Another week goes by and I follow up June 19th, they haven't gotten to it. This process repeats itself the following 2 weeks until finally I lose my patience and recover the engine July 8th. Over a month of unfulfilled promises and no results. The owner Keith offered an apology.

Awesome service and friendliness. Even though the job seemed small ( mostly because no one wanted to do it, or couldn't) I took the parts to K&S machining , not only did he do the job quickly . It was also done with precision. I highly recommend this machine shop

I don't know if the guy answering the phone was new or what but I asked if they could press out a bushing and the response was we don't get into that kind of thing at all". Okay.. a machine shop that doesn't press things? That seems odd. And it made me feel like a bad person for even asking. Like how dare I try to get some help for my bushing."
