Their butch shop is great, friendly staff and meat is always fresh.On the other hand their veggies are so great. Usually go there for meat.

Nice and tidy store. Parking was easy. Just like any super these days, know your items pricing (or use your phone to compare) and can find some good deals.

Very large discount grocery store. This chain has a good variety of Canadian and ethnic products. Good prices on most produce, fish and meats are competitive as are the dry goods. They usually have fairly good sales, more then they can put in their flyers.

I recently purchased life smart organic soy milk at this food basics location with best before day May 26. When I opened it today (April 24). The soy milk was all curds.The milk and dairy section needed to do a better job. The customers in line before me found multiple expired cows milk in bags. Some leaks, so turned out bad. I wonder how the handling of milk at this food basics had been? Maybe food inspector can investigate

Oh I loved it. No that they had different brands but that they could offer you of various different quantities and it's not always gonna be bulk. You can have veggies with as little as a quarter kilo or a pound maybe. It's not always like No Frills or Loblaws where you snatch away your interest just coz the quantities are too much for your needs. Keep it up FB

Nice cheap grocery store in Richmond Hill. The store is often busy at most times throughout the day. Overall the stores kept in pretty good condition but sometimes bits and pieces of garbage will accumulate. There's usually a good amount of cashiers so there's not too much of line up when it's time to pay. Overall a pretty good grocery store and moderate prices

They sell expired food items! I bought a box of ice cream the other day. My son took one and got sick very bad for 2 days! Then I checked the box and noticed that it was expired months ago. I went to the store and noticed other items in the fridge were also expired. Obviously they were also on sale to get sold quick!I talked with the manager and he simply said OK we can offers you a refund! But how about my son being so sick for 2 days and missed school? Do they even care about the health and safety of people?!I can not trust this store ever again.
