Customer service for my wife was horrible. A barista made it personal by telling her all she ever does is complain. My wife goes to the other two Starbucks here in Medicine Hat and has no problems, speaking with staff and having no issues with her order. The staff do not make her drinks properly at the Trans-Canada Way location and she states she willnot return. She wanted to call and speak with a manager but felt so hurt that she didn’t feel it would ever make a difference, and that is probably the worst thing you can say about any retail location.

I have to admit the Americano coffee was good, also the London Fog, but the actual experience was brutal. The establishment was SO filthy I can hardly describe it. The table surfaces were dirty with food, the bases of the tables thickly coated with dust and dried on liquid. The floor was totally unsanitary, filthy dirty with an infestation of ants, we actually watched them carry food into the corners from underneath our table. The faux tan leather chairs were stained black with dirt. The tables outside had a thick layer of dirt on them. The 8 staff were not busy and should have been supervised properly. The windows on the outside were filthy as were inside window ledges inside. Underneath the saggy faux leather couch it was filthy beyond belief. By far the worse Starbucks I have ever seen. Only 4 others in there, I wonder why! This franchise needs a good shake up.

Okay, so a small portion of staff is great and makes drinks great every time. However, I'm not sure why the turnover rate is so high there (maybe look into management starbucks) but there constantly seems to be new people not receiving the proper training. My drinks are constantly wrong. I ordered an iced shaken expresso and they didn't even use espresso in it. Most of the time it seems like they use half the amount of espresso/coffee they're supposed to and overload on sweetener. I understand learning takes time, but it's been a solid 8 months of this. I blame management for this issue. I will not be back to this location anymore.

This Starbucks used to be great - there has been a real decline in service in the last few weeks. This morning I put in a mobile order that took over 20 minutes to receive. I don’t know what is happening with new staffing but the speed of service now is absurdly slow.
