Great space and instructors. Class size is perfect and they match the kids up with similar sizes and skills. They breakdown the moves very well and give the kids a good amount of time to practice. The students and instructors are focused and hard working. A great learning environment. We come as visitors and have felt very welcome. Will be back for sure.

Very proud to be a part of this club! I have gained so much confidence in my skills in a short amount of time. Rodrigo is a patient and very knowledgeable instructor who cares about his students. The club is clean and organized and everyone takes pride in being a part of this team. The kids classes are very structured and it's awesome to see them excited to be there! I highly recommend women to come try it out. The skills you will learn provide a good base for cardio, self defence, strength and confidence.

I had the incredible chance to train there one day (during my vacation) with my brother Martin. This is a world class gym, I would recommend to any one living in the area. An excellent centre to learn grappling from Brazilian jiu-jitsu, judo and no gi grappling. Professor Rodrigo Resende holds a 5th degree black belt in BJJ and 6th degree in judo with multiple years of experience in nogi grappling in a state of the art training facility

I have experienced significant growth in Judo and BJJ under Professor Resende and his instructors. The dojo has great energy, all participants and instructors are very respectful towards each other. I strongly recommend this dojo to even older practitioners, who are looking for a safe and respectful place to train in. Best environment you can ask for. Everyone is there to help, uplift and train together. Kids were all smiles, learning the discipline of BJJ or Judo and interacting positively with each other. The instructors are knowledgeable Sensei Rodrigo is a giant, calm, and pleasantly loveable owner/instructor. Sensei Darren taught the adults and he works with you and makes you better. With the kids Sensei Andrew was passionate, gentle but firm, and all the kids loved him from what I saw. Great spacious facility and I could weight lift or treadmill while I waited for my kids or my turn to be on the mats. Honestly I would give them so many more stars if I could. Great place to take your kids and clean environment. Thumbs up!

This school is exceptionally professional, organized, and clean. The staff is very warming and welcoming to all members. I believe one of the big things that makes Rodrigo's academy stand out to others is that there is a high emphasis on their youth programs and encouraging children to develop their character and discipline skills. For adults, I find that it is great for exercise, self-defense, and friendships. A special thank you to all at the Rodrigo school for improving the community!

I joined this club post-Covid after a long-distance move. It's been great!Professor Rodrigo has built an incredible team of students who have learned high-level technique from the exceptionally friendly instructors.A few months ago my son joined the academy as well and he has been having a blast! It is a terrific way for the children to make friends, while being physically active, learning self-defence and discipline.The facility is very spacious and well-kept and the weight-training equipment is quite modern.This is an excellent place to learn Jiu Jitsu!

Rodrigo Resende Academy is not only a club but a second home to those who are striving to be the better versions of themselves. I am a witness to the growth of this gym not only because of its awesome teaching team, superb instructional level and amazing family orient community. I am speaking as a mom who have watched her son grow from a shy boy to a confident martial artist. Vincent has been one of the first student assistants of Sensei Rodrigo. Sensei has seen his potential and has sponsored him to train high level Judo in Bastos, Brazil. Vin had been training since March and today was promoted into his Purple Belt (Blue Belt). Sensei and his team of instructors have provided a great support for the growth of this young man. I am proud of him and I am proud to be a member and student of Rodrigo Resende Academy! Oss!

Rodrigo is an amazing guy with amazing teaching styles. You feel welcome the second you walk in the door! Everyone is very compassionate, understanding, with overall amazing personalities. I joined on July 19, 2021, and since then have progressed to my yellow belt in Judo, these guys go above and beyond to deliver the best experience possible, to everyone. Kids are always happy to train, adults and youth are the same, and it is an extended family. This is more than a club to me, this is a second home.
