We are very pleased with the awesome service and they way we were accommodated so quickly due to the craziness of all the flooding which has this field of business swamped. Riley and Noah prioritized their jobs obviously to fit us in and worked long hours for us. I would highly recommend this local family owed business to anyone as they are honest, efficient and a pleasure to do business with!

Riley, Arnold and Noah were amazing! They replaced our water tank which was breaking down. Noah was quick and responsive with the quotes we requested. Riley and Arnold came to replace our water tank and were friendly, quick and efficient. Very informative and did an amazingly clean job. At the end, they walked me through the functions of the new tankless water heater and took away my old one. Thank you!!! Highly recommend them.

Worth every penny. They won't be your cheapest quote, but that's because they bring quality, professionalism, and high quality products. I don't know how, but they managed to install an entire heat pump system including 3 headers as well as the main central air unit without creating any holes are drywall repair. They also installed an excellent tankless hot water heater. All this has been done with cable management and drainage well hidden and looking amazing. Communication has been consistent, Noah is easily reachable for questions, concerns or requests throughout the process and after the fact. Strongly recommend.

After the heat dome of 2021 we decided to think about air conditioning for our home. We had a few contractors visit; one via COSTCO, and two others via word-of-mouth recommendations. From the start Competition HVAC was able to come out way ahead of the rest. Noah met with us and examined what we had. Unlike the other two contractors he was aware of a recall on our current furnace and explained what it would take to repair it. He also looked at our water heating equipment and gave us free advice on how best to maintain it. Noah took the time to listen to our concerns and provided a spectrum of quotes that stretched from the simplest, cheapest solution to the slickest upgrade he could offer. On top of that, his quotes were very detailed allowing us to research everything he proposed and the quotes were indeed competitive compared to the others.When we decided to proceed with the highest-end solution that would see us switch to a cold climate heat pump that heats the home even when it is -25C outside, Competition HVAC continued to support us above and beyond. Noah was able to get us bumped to the top of the list for an Energuide assessment of our home just before he started work. This opened the potential of federal rebates. When the federal rebate program didn’t recognize our new system, Noah used his contacts to pressure the government to reconsider. In the end we received combined federal and provincial rebates totalling $11,500 – the maximum available for our area!When it came to doing the work the team from Competition HVAC was outstanding. They explained everything and consulted thoroughly with us on all the options for how to fit the new equipment into our home. Noah was often onsite keeping tabs on the progress and letting us know what was going on. And Riley and Arnold were always very friendly. When surprises arose, as they inevitably do, Competition HVAC met each challenge head on and saw the entire project through to our satisfaction while keeping to the price quoted.Six months later we have seen our new heating system effortlessly cool us during the summer and easily warm us through the most recent winter storm that saw temperatures dipping lower than -10C. And all without burning any fossil fuels. To top it off the governments paid for a significant part of the equipment and work. Competition HVAC came through from start to end and delivered the best system for the best cost while doing everything they possibly could to help us out along the way. It’s hard to find good help like this these days so be sure to reach out to Competition HVAC if you need help with your heating systems.

Update: Communication broke down again. I was never able to set up dates to get the services done. I'm moving on to another service provider.Update: Noah was very quick to respond after seeing my original review.The service recovery efforts are fantastic and I have my estimates clearly laid out in an easy to understand breakdown. It's now in my court to make some decisions. Due to the prompt service recovery effort, I'm happy to move forward with having these folks do the work.My experience with getting an appointment and having Riley out to the house was fine. There was recommended repairs / maintenance and they haven't gotten back to me nor returned any of my messages over several weeks. Very, very disappointing. I do NOT recommend this organization as their responsiveness and follow up is horrific.

I've used Competition for my furnace servicing/repair, hot water tank replacement, and recently for my gas fireplace repair.I have been thoroughly impressed with the level of service I receive from the team at Competition, which has been responsive, informative, and honest.When I had my furnace recently serviced I asked the technician, Riley, if there was an option to enable my furnace fan to be on in the summer without the heat and without hesitation hooked it up as part of my servicing because the install parts were already in and just needed to be enabled.With my fireplace, during this pandemic part availability has been difficult, as it has been across many industries. Noah and his team kept me informed of the progress getting the parts and keeping a spot open for me when the part came in.I'll certainly be returning to them next time I am in need of a service.

Not professional. Run around for weeks with no communication.This is my 3rd review ever and I only do it when I feel like I've been pushed around.Called this company last year to repair furnace in winter, said will call me after weekend. No response for 2 weeks. The call was you needed something before?Decided to give them another shot with a job for a bathroom fan vent reroute. Said he would give me a quote in 3 days. It's been 3 weeks and I've been messaging every week and I get the same answer,let you know in a few days.I could have just hired someone else and had the job done by now.3 weeks later I asked an additional question if perhaps they could install a furnace pan when they do the other job. Indicated that if not, it's not a problem for me I only need the bathroom vent done. It appears that this upset the representative of the company and he says why don't you get them to do everything.The furnace pan is not the job I needed done, I only need the bathroom exhaust fan job done but they are using the pan as some excuse for a bad review. The AC and pan have nothing to do with their reply. Not sure why people recommend this individual on Facebook, it appears that small jobs are not worth it for them. Leading people on for weeks wasting time.Read the other 1 star reviews. Very unprofessional.I must say, the representative is knowledgeable, just not professional.

Amazing experience with Competition HVAC. They were so quick to respond via Facebook messenger to understand the issue and schedule a visit the very next day! We got a great diagnosis of the issue, service and maintenance. Riley was friendly, and professional. He explained everything to us and gave us great advice! Super happy. Will 100% be using them in the future.

We got a Furnace replacement and heat exchanger addition. We have an old house that’s tricky to renovate but the team figured out how to get it done. Their skill and workmanship was exceptional and what really sets Competition HVAC apart from other companies I’ve hired is the way they handled the unexpected and completed the install without compromise. They went above and beyond expectations and I would not hesitate to recommend them!
