Your Dollar Store With More

Will NOT shop here again. Very few items are actually $1. Many other items not marked. Store is also poorly organized. Exact same things are much cheaper at the University Plaza dollar store...literally $3 or $4 for half or less at the University Plaza store. To top it all...store staff have a very un-canadian attitude and are NOT helpful.

Worst customer service..... Asian Lady and guy were closing the store and i lost my airpods in the store. It was not even 7:10 and They were still inside and when I requested them jst to give me 2 min to look for it .... they were very rude and no ethics at all . After that its been 3 days i have been calling the store to get hold of manager but same lady pics the call up and ends up hanging and also the google timing says they are open till 9 pm and their store board outside say they are open till 7:30pm.Very poor to have such staff member who doesnt care about the customer...

Worst customer service ever. It is my first time to ever write a bad review but they deserve it. I purchased some foil balloons online and went there to inflate them with helium. They charged me $7 per balloon which I thought is too much but I said ok. Then they said they will also charge me $1 for a thin plastic bag (the grocery store disposable ones) to hold the balloons and again I said ok. Then the staff popped up my son's favourite character balloon and they did not even apologize for it and started raising their voices and blaming ME for buying the balloons online and not from their store. Horrible customer service. Never returning back to this store. The staff don't even deserve a one star.

Store has excellent variety of products. Employees are fairly friendly.Edit: items that used to be $1.25 are now $4. Hard to find anything under $2 anymore, can find same items cheaper at any other dollar store. Have had times where they closed 2 hours early. I always make sure to go at least 3-4 hours before close" as they open/close whenever is convenient to them

I went to the store tonight and bought $17 dollars worth of items. They charged me $71. I felt it was done intentionally because they made it seem like the first transaction didn't go through (even though no issue with my card etc.) and when I tapped again they did not show me amount on the new machine" they 'needed' to use to fix the issue

Not much of a dollar-store with most items ranging from $7-$50+. Customer service is sub-par and they usually don't understand the items I am looking for - on multiple occasions I've been told they didn't have something, but after inspecting for myself I was able to find it.There's also no aisle-labels so it can be difficult to shop here when you're looking for one specific item.Overall, it's a good store for cheap items. Just not really a 'dollar store'.

Good-sized store; friendly people; and, on the whole, a pretty good selection of products.

I phoned them a day in advance to ask them if they had a product in stock. They had confirmed it was in stock so I bussed 40 minutes to this dollar store the next morning only to have them tell me that it had been sold out. I asked one of the employees if there were any nearby dollar stores, knowing that all dollar stores carry this product, and this employee flat out lied to my face and said they were the ONLY ones who sold it. So I had to leave empty handed and bus another 40 minutes back home in -20 degree weather.Not only are the employees dishonest but this dollar store either does NOT keep their things well in stock or their employees just don't check for the product that is asked for.I am never returning to this place.
