Nice enough, 20-30m walk from the edge of main campus so quite far.

Old building with a lot of reworking to do to make it presentable. Long walk from Phase 2 to dining hall.

Don’t ever stay here if you have the option not to. They won’t tell you anything, there will be no bedding when you arrive and they won’t warm you. If you arrive late at night and all the shops are closed GG to you. At the end of the year they just leave everyone’s stuff to get donated elsewhere instead of recirculating it with uni students. For the first week they told us to organise our own food which would’ve been okay, if we could find our common room to store and cook our food... the receptionist didn’t even know if we had a common room, the don wasn’t there and when I called vic Hall the lady laughed and said we don’t have common rooms... The food is bad, if you got conned into doing a meal plan i feel your pain, it is the biggest waste of money. You could order meal prep online for much cheaper and get more nutritious meals. The only good to come from this hole was some of the people, we had a good don. But if you’re an exchange student like me just know you’re gonna be stuck with 18 year old first year students here that pull the fire alarm and deface the entire place. If you can be housed ANYWHERE other than this place, do it! I think queens should consider putting their exchange students in the penitentiary next door, probably has better living conditions there!

It's an ATM, it works fine, I don't know why it has a listing in Google maps...

Located about 20 minutes away from the main Queen's University campus, this 1970's era student dorms desperately need some major improvements. The bathroom fixtures are dated and the lower floors experience frequent flooding. Many of the common rooms have been converted into double rooms which reduces the available space whilst increasing competition for the few available washrooms and laundry. The rooms themselves are poorly maintained, so expect to find broken towel racks, dented heaters, and rips in the paint. Given that much of the value in a residence room lies in its convenient location, it is a mystery why these rooms are priced as high as the rooms on main campus.

Hated the idea of living here, loved the reality of it. Honestly can’t recommend West enough

Definitely the best option of wrecking your back. Low service for high price. Fire alarms twice a week at minimum guaranteed. Hearing your floor mates peeing and mice running around kitchen included. Welcome to West.

It’s a decent residency building for queen’s students. It’s not one of the best, but it’s attached to a dining hall and I’ve met great people there. I bike to class so the distance from main barely matters (it’s like a 6min ride if I try)
