We went expecting such a fun time but it was very stressful. We were all scolded for touching the plush toys and given a list of strict behaviour protocols. The lady was mean and unkind. On top of following all these rules and paying an insane price for 5 animal stuffies, they all fell apart within days or weeks. The quality of the bears is basically dollar store level. A huge waste of money and the kids are all sad about their stuffies that have fallen apart. I do not recommend this location at all.

Disappointed in the service received by Simone. Our daughter was so excited to experience this, it was her first time and right away, Simone busted her excitement. She appeared to be at the end of her shift and most likely tired of people and kids. We felt rushed through the process and she had very little patience with my daughter. My daughter did not get to stuff her teddy as she took the one from the shelf instead, the picture was taken too fast (poorly framed) and she left us with the Ipad and we never saw her again. We then understood we had to go to the cash but again, the whole experience was poor and nowhere near what we expected. Oh well...I guess it depends on which staff person you get. Try to get one that greets you with a smile :) The lady at the cash was super friendly though.

We were aware of the reviews and went in despite concerns. Unfortunately we only stayed a minute as the atmosphere wasn't welcoming to children and it was too manic-controlled. I appreciate we are in difficult times with social distancing, but I felt this was still not managed well. Wouldn't tell your kids about this place to avoid disappointment.

Went to buy stuffed animals for my kids today. Was a great experience. I don't find it's too much to ask to respect certain rules. as long as you do, you get good service!

Terrible customer service. We came in Feb 22nd and as soon as we stepped inside, the older lady with short blonde hair ran over and told us to take of our mits and sanitize our hands immediately before stepping any further. Ok... well a hello welcome would have been nice first of all but immediately she was very hostile and considering we have 4 little ones ready to spend money, it put us off right away. My wife continued to ask her to explain the experience and how much involvement the little ones would have with the activity (we have been to build a bear numerous times but with covid, just wanted to make sure)...her response was simply no no no I do it ALL, we are VERY expensive, they pick a toy, I stuff it, make a wish blah blah blah and that's it. I took offense to the way she clearly didn't want our business and walked out. Absolutely disgusting behavior, Do not recommend going here and please avoid the disappointed look on your children's faces.

It was a first for my youngest and she had a great time. Service was great with the young lady as she explained to my 4 year old the steps to take. My daughter picked out a cute husky and decided on a tie dye shirt for him. Once we reached the cash the older lady seemed un a rush yet there wasn't anyone else behind us. My daughter wanted do put the shirt on and it seemed to bother the older lady as she had to wait for me to remove it from the hanger and put it on before she stuffed him in the box. Overall was good experience but that older woman clearly doesn't belong in customer service.

Beautiful concept. Bad service. Too expensive.As soon as you arrive, we jump on you to help you. We push you to add extras ($$$) and we even sell you the box to put the doggie ($3). Saturday evening, were on a family ski trip I had a terrible experience at this place. Was ready and excited to make teddy bears with my boyfriend and the moment we walked in were yelled at in such an aggravated tone “DO NOT TOUCH THAT” as a person who worked in costumer service this rubbed me the wrong way I understand that she was telling me to not touch something but in such and awful tone and yelling was uncalled for. We are taught to speak politely to the costumer after all I could buy a teddy bear anywhere, I’m obviously paying for the experience. I thought to myself okay well that was unsettling and my boyfriend wanted to go because of the situation he could tell I had gotten upset, I thought to myself “if they have something I like then, okay then I will indeed make a bear and put clothing on the bear but get out of the store as fast as possible”. Merely a few steps over, another lady yelled at me to get out the photo almost putting her hands on me. I was overwhelmed and my boyfriend could tell I was close to tears. I really don’t believe a costumer is supposed to be treated like that, I walked right out left a horrible taste in my mouth. I dont know if it was because they thought we were just teenagers (were 20 years old) and thought we weren’t going to spend money but we were going to return back later in the trip with the rest of the family this experience changed our minds and I don’t think I will return here again.

They are really beautiful plushes. Dont expect to find big plushes tho. Also dont expect it to be like build a bear. Its a nice small local and small shop. Prices are expensive tho but its normal since you probably only buy it once

I've dreamed my whole childhood of making my own teddy there. Finally went with my own kids and it was the most Terrible experience (if you can call it an experience) we walk in and are forbidden to touch anything. My TWO year old crossed the line on the floor by 15 cm and the girl pretty much scolded him. When I told the girl which teddy we chose I pointed at it and god forbid touched it with the tip of my finger and she scolded me saying we asked not to touch" the young girls working there were pretty young and very bossy and treating us adults of 38 yrs old as children. So offending and disrespectful. So my kids went in and litterallky did nothing
