There’s a woman there suchs as nasty she work there wherever I go she gave me a ticket parking she just put a ticket on my car even when I parked it in my permitted parking she just gimme a ticket when I talk to her she replied so rude words and when she find out she was the one wrong simply said sorry. If I was wrong I know that I have to pay the ticket but she pay nothing when she was wrong.None respectful and rude worker there.None knowledgeableNone knowing how to handle the pplShe have to go somewhere else to work instead of fighting there with the ppl who living in that place.

I would have rated lower if I could. Constant construction, there is always a leaking pipe somewhere. Poor management. They have decided to paint using heavily smelly material in December!! You cannot open the window and the smell is just terrible.

Two break ins in a month in the “secure” underground parking, this time the car was about 6 spots down from ours and the super went looking around our car to see if it was broken into too. The construction is now blocking an emergency exit until 530 pm everyday. So I guess if you’re on that side of the building, don’t have an emergency until 530? If there’s a fire and you can’t get to the other emergency exit on the other side of the building well I guess you’re sol. The back door and recycling/moving room are now closed off for months. How do we move in/out now? I hate this building. I feel unsafe to leave my apartment or even stay in the apartment now because I have to worry if my car is safe. It’s a locked garage it was probably someone who lives here. Feel safe? Not in this building!

If you want lots of peace, go find another place!Update: don't be fooled by the lobby, it's the only area where they added a small unit of air conditioner. The hand sanitizer dispenser has been empty for almost a year now; it's just for show, in my opinion. Even on the first floor, just walk past the lobby into the living area hallway and you will see the truth about this building. Again, don't forget about the regular water shut-offs and the state of constantly under construction and getting woken up by the construction noises.- Parking is now off-site; the furthest one is ~ 20-minute walk away; round trip is up to 40 minutes. If you need to make an emergency trip somewhere, good luck! (My past weekend was ruined.)- Water shut off (including swimming pool and laundry room) roughly 8 hours per week- Alarm testing roughly 8 hours per week- Room inspection/entering with often less than 24 hours notice for whatever reason lately roughly twice a month, sometimes more often(Giving a notice in the afternoon/night then entering the room very next morning is less than 24 hours!)- Underground parking is now under construction. The underground parking were reinforced by almost 200 metal poles. If the underground parking is safe, what's with the new added metal poles. Terrible!- Long waiting times for an elevator- People stuck in an elevator for HOURS multiple times per year.I bet Alexandrian staffs don't tell their prospective tenants about these issues when they are looking for a place to rent.Ask around! Do your research. The old manager was too lax. The new manager is too eager. (Each one has his/her own pros/cons, but I do miss the old manager sometimes.) While the old manager was slow to do things, at least, there were less disruptions to living lives; the place felt more like home. With the new manager, the place feels like a boarding school/military, always curfews (water shutoffs), always reasons to enter your room and take pictures without your permissions (uninvited visitors). TERRIBLE!Update: want to add that this place has no in-suite laundry, dishwasher, air conditioner, and no in-suite thermostat! (It's often either TOO HOT or TOO COLD!) For not so much more (~$100), you can get a suite with in-suite laundry, dishwasher, thermostat, and air conditioner. Is saving a little worth it? If you are a student, summer months are almost dead for the rental market in KW; many apartments/houses are left empty for the summer months, and you can get incredibly deals in KW for summer months, e.g., $200-$300/month rent. While there are good people in this building, with the way that this building is going, good people are leaving, and more and more sketchy people are moving in.The new parking lot (as the building underground parking is being fixed) is 20 minutes away! Yes, for a round trip to and from the new parking lot that is extra 40 minutes of your lives per day; about 10 days/years will now be spent doing extra walking. (Walking is good; too much walking and less time to do things are bad!) Not to mention the RAIN, the SNOW, and carrying heavy groceries for a long distance. The repair is estimated to be 4 months long for the first phase, then another 2nd phase is roughly scheduled for Spring 2018 for EIGHT MONTHS!. (The building handed out a notice that we had to move our cars out of the garage by Monday on Friday night-when many people were away. Yes, they gave us less than 1 business day to move our cars. SNEAKY! UNETHICAL! TERRIBLE! in my opinion.)If you want to have a life, don't move here. It's too late for me to find a new apartment in a such a short notice. If they know that the underground parking is plaque with problems, they should have been upfront with the prospective tenants about the issue. I will avoid Effort Trust like plaque from now on. This company is unethical and very unprofessional, IMO.

Dont know why all the bad reviews. Construction is over, generally get tons of notice if they need to enter my unit. Good neighbors. Management has been very responsive and more than helpful.

Short lived ended my lease within 3 months due to cockroaches, total infestation that couldn’t be resolved by fumigation

Poorly insulated walls and extremely slow elevators. Very old building, so everything is always under maintenance/construction (eg. pool, water supply, parking garage). Don't go out the back door unless you want to smell garbage. Fairly cheap to rent compared to other apartments in the area (eg. Kaufman Lofts) but you definitely get what you pay for.Edit: Recently, tenants were given a 3 day notice that the back parking lot would be under construction and inaccessible for at least the next year. This is a prime example of poor communication and service. Also, I would also like to mention that you should definitely be careful if you choose to live here. The building is quite old, so the ceiling may randomly start collapsing. The ceiling in my washroom started cracking and would have completely collapsed if I didn't notice it and alerted maintenance to come and fix it. I have attached photos of the ceiling when it was collapsing.

It's a pretty good building to live in. I have a large dog and in the morning when I take him outside the lobby is packed with screaming children that like to scream at my poor dog. The parking garage is currently being renovated I have a hard time finding a place to park close to the building. There is a lady that likes to sit in the front lobby all day and people watch, it's kinda creepy. You can't have anything on your balcony ( patio furniture or flower boxes) as the winds get too high.

They should either give tenants heavy discount, or tell the tenants that the building needed to be evacuated. No on-site parking. Constant construction. Unless you enjoy getting woken up by loud construction noises (jack hammering? drilling?) , don't rent here. The building is vibrating as I'm typing this review. I'm on the higher floor and I can still hear/get woken up by the construction noises from the main floor/underground.Some time back, I had no internet. The cable company blamed it on the construction worker cutting the cable.
