Came here in the morning to try the supreme croissant from Hugo bakery! It was really delicious! Crispy outside and the inside was nice and soft filled with delicious cream. It wasn’t too sweet and there was a nice pistachio flavour. The interior also has a great ambience and the staff were really nice. Only thing is the prices are quite expensive which I understand as it’s obviously very labour intensive to make these pastries but for almost $10, I was left wanting a bit more in terms of the size of the croissant. Still definitely recommend trying and I’ll be back to check out other desserts!

I was spending a day in ottawa during the week end and i was looking forward to try their supreme croissants that i kept on seeing on Instagram. They had the cinnamon crunch flavor. It was the best thing ever. The filling was very light and fluffy, not too sweet, the croissant was flaky and delicious. I highly recommend this place. Hopefully ill get to try other flavors next time I stop by

I used to go to social Thai before their recent upgrade. The food was alway delicious and the service is consistent. They are now more of a causal dining space with Thai food and a cafe. I really like the new vibe and the shorter menu. They do have some gluten free options which is great- but they are not indicated on the menu so just ask one of the people at the front. When I went in this time I got a gluten free pad Thai with shrimp and it was perfect. It has the right amount of sweetness and topped with crunchy cashews and bean sprout. Next time I go in I am eager to try more options and also give their coffee and pastries a try!

Nice little restaurant/café. The Thai food was fresh and very tasty. Highly recommend the Mango salad.

I was very excited to try out this place since I love thai cuisine. Pad thai was pretty tasty but I didn’t like the concept of eating out of the paper box in the restaurant. The pricepoint is also not the lowest so getting everything in one plate the soup, the skewers is not so enjoyable. Overall taste of the food is nice but would be just nice to be appreciated more as a quest.

Food is very tasty! Great flavours and spice. The space is also very cute, it's more of a cafe than a restaurant. The food is served in take out containers and water is self serve so it does have more a food court" feel

Great food in a cute store front that also houses a bakery. Entrees served in takeaway boxes, which were brimming with just the right spiced food per our request.

Cute local spot. We came in to try the supreme croissant and were disappointed unfortunately. It lacked all the best parts of what makes a croissant great i.e. the flaky and the buttery. The filling was also a bit flat. At $8 each, I would expect something a bit heavier or more refined. We also tried the madeleine which was nice. I still scored the Social Thai a solid 4 because of the great service and general appeal of the place which deserves a local following (I wouldn’t be surprised to hear their dishes were good) - I just wouldn’t recommend you make a detour for the supreme croissants.

Came here for the “supreme croissants” and they did not disappoint! We got a box full of goodies and each was just as delicious. I also got a Thai fog to go and it was perfectly sweet and cozy for my walk home. They have small in house made baked treats for your dog too! Cute place, bright with few seats inside and friendly service.
